Art Nouveau emerged in the 1890s and remained influential until the First World War. これが自分たちの作業場です。 かなり小さいスペースなんだけど、兄と並んでずっとここで描いてます。 兄がデスクトップ側、自分がその隣。 壁には昔の練習絵とか、2〜3年前くらいに描いてたイラストや人物画をいっぱい貼ってる。 よく見ると鳥山先生や村田先生もいます。笑 日本行ったときは、本当にいろいろ買いました。 マンガはもちろん、伝統的なものとかもたくさん。 マンガ買うと付いてくる広告ポスターも「めちゃくちゃかっこいいじゃん…！」ってなって、気づいたら壁に貼ってました。笑 最初に紀伊國屋の新宿店行ったときは本当に混乱したな〜。 「マンガどこですか？」って聞いたら「上です」って言われて、上がったらマンガだらけでびっくりした。笑 あんな巨大な“ほぼ本専用のビル”みたいなの、人生で初めて見た。 しかも置いてあるマンガの量も凄すぎた。 研究用ってことで、ちょっと大人向けのマンガも買いました。笑
