Politicians throw around $10 million like it’s absolutely nothing. 20 people worked their entire lives to give you that.

Paying taxes hits different when you see just how many places it gets blown for nothing. $100 million here, $500 million there, $5 billion over there, $300 million there. People work their entire lives to pay $500k in taxes, and it’s a rounding error on one wasteful program.

It is truly 'unfair' that some children have wonderful parents whilst others have terrible ones (or none at all) but it's a reality of life. It would be great if all parents at least tried. But some are totally useless and can't even look after themselves, let alone anyone else.

The people inflamed at closing USAID seem to be the NGOs and private sector grantees with a vested interest in USAID operations. The people very weirdly not inflamed at closing USAID are the leaders of countries those NGOs and private sector grantees are paid supposedly to help

Just curious: has a single foreign head of state called President Trump this week and told him “No! Please! Don’t take USAID out of our country!”

The amount of money going out the door for HIV is an outrage. We could have solved childhood cancer by now. Everyone knows how to not get AIDS by now. I’m sick of this shit. No more money for this. Put it all into diseases people get via mutation or genetic accident. Cancer!

If your non-profit needs government funds to survive (because no one wants to donate), then your non-profit shouldn't exist.

An estimated $100 billion in estimated improper payments were made in the Medicare and Medicaid programs in Fiscal Year 2023. This is 43% of government-wide improper payments that year.

If people are still getting HIV, it’s not our problem. This isn’t the 1980’s. Everyone knows what causes it. Billions a year goes to so called “prevention.” This needs to end. Same with PrEP being given out with taxpayer money. Stop doing drugs and having orgies.

USAID has proven absolute taxation without representation. End withholding immediately by EO then abolish the IRS. It’s time. This scandal means this issue should be a top 3 issue with voters.

It’s interesting, when someone works a physically or mentally demanding job, many want to retire early eventually, usually 60ish. But these career politicians want to stay on until they are literally wearing Depends undergarments to work. Now I’m beginning to understand why.
