Another incredible morning with @MBK_Ohio and the @Reds, who are creating opportunities for kids around Ohio to learn about pathways to new careers and skills. Thank you to these partners, as well as Commissioner Reece, for investing in our children at such a pivotal age.

I recently spoke with our inaugural @MBK_Alliance Ambassadors – a group of talented, inspiring young leaders from across the country who are working to give back to their communities. I’m looking forward to following their progress and having them back as alumni to share what they’ve learned. Take a look:

Great to meet with @MBK_Ohio & the @Reds yesterday. Their partnership is so important — it’s about showing more Black & brown kids in our state that there’s a whole network of people who want to help them achieve their dreams. I’m honored to be a part of it.

This is what the future looks like. @MBK_Ohio is doing important work all over our state to foster the next generation of Ohio leaders.   I can’t wait to see what these kids — and all the young Ohioans I've met at MBK events across our state — accomplish.

We were honored to host @AmeriCorps CEO @msmithDC at the @KirwanInstitute for a roundtable discussion with AmeriCorps members serving at community organizations throughout the state, including @MBK_Ohio, @Rural_Action, & @ServeOhio!

We’re retiring the term “rust belt” in Ohio. These kids are our future. We’re working with @MAGNETOhio, Students of Promise, @ULCleveland, and @MBK_Ohio to expand opportunities for young Ohioans.
