@twbpt @N_landCouncil I looked inside the shop yesterday. It is coming on a treat. Love the newly discovered fascia sign.

Peeling back the layers we discovered a sash window at Cattlemarket Hexham that will bring light into the dark shop unit. Simple enhancements funded by the Heritage Action Zone managed by @N_landCouncil .

These little treasures need to be looked after. Last used as a hair dressers. This shed controlled the level crossing at Eighton Banks on the Bowes Railway.

Due to an act of vandalism and a train fault we have gaps in the service of up 20 minutes to trains operating between Pelaw and South Hylton and South Hylton and Airport. Please leave extra time for your journey.

Seems wrong that a building on Grey St Newcastle should spend so many years on Heritage at Risk Register. @HistoricEngland

Someone just rang for advice on the Jesmond Dene Banqueting Hall in Newcastle. I struggle to contain my emotions at the wasted opportunity to restore this beauty. Thankfully there are plenty of other knackered buildings to keep @twbpt busy.
