Yesterday, @chowdeck crossed 2 million registered users!
It has been a year since I made the tweet mentioning that we crossed a million users. We have come a long way since then.
We have learnt even more over the last year as we more than doubled every part of our network.
Again, I am really grateful to our team, customers, riders and partners for coming on this journey with us.

Last week, we crossed 1 Million registered users on Chowdeck. In the same week, we successfully crossed N30 Billion worth of deliveries in 2024 alone. In less than 3 years we have grown from 319 users in our first month, to over 1M users a few weeks to our third birthday. To every member of our team that has made this happen, my co-founders and I are effusively grateful for giving us the opportunity to build this with you. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our over 3K businesses, 10k+ riders and now, 1M users in just 8 Nigerian states. We have learnt a lot in the last few years and we can't wait to unlock the next level of growth! It is still Day 0 and we are excited! You should be too! 🚀🚀🚀

I just saw this old message on slack a few minutes ago.
500 orders in a day was really big three years ago. Today, we have already crossed 5k orders before 11am.
It’d be crazy if we do 50k orders today, which will be 100 times what we were hoping for three years ago!

I am super pumped to share that last month, @chowdeck hit over 1 million orders in Nigeria in a single month! 🚀
The past few weeks hasn't been perfect. We have had some tough moments with support and operations. But we are listening, learning, and fixing things quickly.
Our daily order volumes in Nigeria has grown from an average of ~30K daily orders a few weeks ago to over 40K daily orders presently and still increasing day on day.
To everyone who’s shown us patience, trust, and continued support, thank you.
This milestone reminds us of what is possible when people believe in what we’re building.

We just crossed over 1,000 orders in a single day in Ghana - in under 3 months! 🎉
It took us 11 months to hit this in Nigeria, and we are excited at how fast the growth has been since we launched in Ghana.

I just ran @chowdeck 's numbers for last month to get a good sense of the impact we have had, and it's truly mind blowing. 💚 We have built something really beautiful, and it gladdens my heart that our champions are equally well paid for the amazing job they do daily delivering happiness to our customers. ~1% of our ~3k riders earned above 500k last month. ~30% earned above 200k last month. ~65% earned above 100k monthly last month. This is still early days for us. We are going to positively impact the lives of 10k riders this year. 🚀🚀🚀
