Congratulations to JUCO transfer Blake Newell (@BlakeNewell1919) on his commitment to Lane College (@_LCBaseball)! Blake is a power-hitting first baseman from @MCBaseball20 coming off an outstanding sophomore season. Over two years at the junior college level, he developed into a consistent offensive threat, batting .352 this past season with 5 home runs. A dependable defender at first base with the versatility to also play third base, Blake brings a well-rounded skill set to Lane’s program. We’re proud to have assisted Blake throughout his recruiting journey and know he’ll be a great addition to the Dragons. Congratulations again, Blake, and best of luck. We can’t wait to see all you accomplish at Lane!

Jayden is a versatile athlete and proven table-setter who hit leadoff this season for @MCBaseball20. Offensively, he consistently shows strong bat-to-ball skills with the ability to spray line drives across the field while displaying gap-to-gap power. Jayden is also a versatile defender who primarily works in the MINF. He showed reliability throughout the season, finishing his sophomore year without committing an error. Jayden will be a great addition for Georgian Court, and we are incredibly excited to continue following his career at the next level. Best of luck, Jayden.
