@cossettej @VernierST This is excellent! Do you have a written out activity for this or did you just piece it together organically? I tried doing something similar with students moving in front of detectors but it wasn’t as effective I don’t think.

Matching motion graphs and recreating them with @VernierST sensors carts in "real life" while I ran around the room awarding stamps when the graphs passed my inspection. It was so great to hear the deep discussions happening to turn the abstract graphs into physical motion! 🙂

@emilykmay Don’t give up the nap, he’s too young. Check schedule is my guess. 12-13 hours of sleep is typical for this age including nap. I’d suggest 5-6 hours of wake time before any sleep and keep naps to 2 hours or less. Don’t be afraid to wake him up. Regressions are awful, sending 🫂

My 2yo has skipped his nap 2 days in a row, but when he does nap it’s 2.5-3 hours. He is an absolute monster, when he does not nap. Need tips that do not under any circumstances include the phrase, “he’s giving up his nap.”
