I think most people know how high I was and still am on Devon Levi. I just don’t understand this deal tbh. If that’s the return, why not just keep him? I understand not wanting to lose him for nothing, but give him the opportunity at camp to compete. You invested 3 years into him. He had 2 great years in Roch and this past season I thought held down the fort considering the Amerks lost Metsa, Murray, Dunne, Ostlund, Rosen, Klague, and Helenius for playoffs, and they weren’t really replaced with anyone comparable. And he pitched a playoff shutout against the eventual AHL Champs. I’m super happy for him and hope he gets to prove what I already know Just feel for a position you’ve been naked at for over a decade, you can never have too many goalies. If at camp you feel the same, then make the move. I’m sure it still would have been there

The more information that comes out about trade talks with the Sabers and Blues, the clearer it becomes that the trade that makes sense for the Flyers is Risto straight up for Konsta Helenius. Maybe that's why the Thomas price is too high for Buffalo?
