This task inspired one of the best scenes from the 1975 movie "The Hindenburg". A bit dramatized, but they did make this in real life. Not much of a walk in the park, in any way.

@NordicCalisto IMO, it also reflected a "spirit of optimism", to find new borders and possibilities. Architecture, technology, and music etc. always reflects the human evolvement. This "feeling" or atmosphere disappeared and moved in questionable directions.

The logic and simplicity of the classic Alitalia-livery was outstanding. It belongs to my all-time favorites. In fact, there are only a small number of basic design-elements (the "A", the cheat line, and "Alitalia" + the black nose cone) to generate such a beautiful result and identity.
