Thrilled to have received an EL2 this round for my program "Transforming exercise care for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease #MASLD". Grateful to be able to dedicate 5yrs to improving access to sustainable exercise solutions for people with MASLD.

Can’t wait to join @uw_GIHep today for a visiting professorship! The accommodations and view of Lake Mendota are truly breathtaking! Makes me want to take a shell out at the boathouse and get back to my college rowing days! But first, #exercise and #MASLD discussion!

New Study Alert! Delighted to work alongside @mohitdoc @LinahuertaM to show kids with #MASLD know #PhysicalActivity is key, but only 56% meet @WHO guidelines. Barriers? Fatigue (84%), discomfort (56%), & fear of ridicule Tech & provider support may help! #PediatricHealth
Mohit kehar@mohitdoc

Children with MASLD often don’t achieve recommended physical activity, knowing barriers is the key! link.springer.com/10.1007/s10620…

"Our findings suggest that high-intensity resistance exercises are well tolerated by both mother and fetus, including while using the Valsalva manoeuvre." - great study to address a commonly asked clinical question!
British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM)@BJSM_BMJ

Maternal and fetal responses to acute high-intensity resistance exercise during pregnancy 🤰💪 NEW #OriginalResearch in the BJSM ✅ What happens to fetal heartrate during resistance exercise? Does the use of Valsalva effect this? Exciting new study from @ExercisePreg and team 👏 👉 bit.ly/3DnKzOC
