@SciGuySpace One thing I am curious about. It looked like a detonation occurred not just a deflagration you would expect from a methane explosion. Was the upper stage loaded with hydrogen when it happened? It looks like it was hydrogen to my uneducated eyes?

Anthropic feels like it's becoming a dictatorship. As dictators do, they turn on everyone who helped them get to where they are. If I were one of their enterprise customers, I would be worried…they’re next. It's surprising to think they tried to make @sama look evil.

9 years ago today. I've maintained a 160lb weight loss, added a significant amount of lean mass, blood panels consistently within range, and most importantly, continue to remain seizure-free. So much for "unsustainable".

@mattpocockuk Within minutes of them enabling auto mode I saw the potential for serious issues so quickly searched for a way to permanently disable it. If I hadn't been able to disable it I would have been constantly on edge about it.

I figured out what this was Turns out Auto Mode doesn't just handle permissions It also injects instructions into the system prompt to make it more AFK This is dumb, it shouldn't do that - it's messing with all my skills I guess that's the cost of not owning the whole flow

@TerraOrBust The problem for me is not the battery it is the OS. only 2 upgrades to the Android OS is promised on my phone, so around 3-4 years if I am lucky.

I'm torn on this one. I tend to take care of my devices, and replace them maybe every five years or so. But that is well outside of the norm, and doesn't require EU legislation to achieve it, as the devices last that long already. No one is keeping a mobile for 10 years.

The EU recently legislated for the banning of 31 "meaty" words to be used in the branding or naming of anything non-meaty. The EU reset will require EU regulations like this to be applied in the UK - so that's rebranding and relabelling of thousands of vegetarian products.

@PovilasKorop I am just wondering if you have noticed this? Opus 4.6 was a major step forward and I was starting to trust it a LOT. But since we got the 1M context window it seems to be a lot slower and making more mistakes again? I try doing a compact after it gets slow to speed it up again then it seems like we are back to the old system where it forgets sooo much. I think I prefer the pre 1M context window 4.6.

Not sure if I missed the point here. Lots of issues with this. but to avoid the tin foil hat accusations I will stick with one... I am fastest on the keyboard. Every time I have to take my hands away from the keyboard to touch the mouse hurts. Hitting enter is always going to be faster and less irritating than holding my thumb up to a camera. I can only assume this was a joke? I LOVE the terminal.
