People legit think Morgan Rogers is coming to play as a winger. I doubt that's the case. I think Arteta is bringing him as an attacking midfielder/Box to box midfielder with Eze moving to the wing. Rogers is not good enough as a winger but very good as an AM/B2B.

Rodgers has 19 ga in 35 games from LW for Villa. Last season he got 6 in 7 in the PL and this season he got 9 in 14. When he plays LW for us he is going to explode into a elite level winger.

Tbh I hear Rogeres as a Trossard replacement but 1. I felt Eze could do that job (still think he can) 2. 80-90m?? If that is our only attacking signing outside of Monga I dont want it

Saw this one coming. That’s your high-touch LW option. Bigger, more physical Trossard. Better suited to the role than even Eze due to power and acceleration at a stand start + pace over distance. Martinelli probably stays then.

@hobidyhobs I feel like we need a game breaker at LW I think we could sell both Martinelli and Trossard. Roger’s can do Trossard role, whilst also offering what Rice does offensively at LCM (that LHS channel carrying) And go big on LW too but linked to many and can’t make sense of it yet
