New transport secretary complained today on Radio 4 of overcrowding on GWR’s 4-car trains to Swindon. I assume she was talking about 387s (do other 4-car units serve Swindon?) but does anyone know how often they serve Swindon as 4s rather than 8s or 12s?

@MHerriott @CrecyRail The rationale is that the two routes are separate until Horfield Junction; the atlas has never differentiated between double and quadruple track otherwise
