To build a digital ghost town where legless cartoons stood around doing nothing, because Mark Zuckerberg looked at Facebook – a website people use to congratulate their guinea pig on its birthday – and thought: what this needs is a worse version of reality. Hey, @equinox. As a Catholic, I take offense to you putting a Pope's oversized photo on the outside wall of your gym with the message "Question Everything." On your treadmills, you post a photo of the fat tyrant communist of N. Korea, Kim Jong-Un with the same message "Question Everything." Equal treatment for a tyrannical dictator and the Pope? I see you. Instead of questioning everything of a Pope, I question your motive for debasing a religious leader. I don’t see you telling people to question Mohammed or the Ayatollah … not questioning of Obama, Hillary Clinton, or Pol Pot.. You know what would happen if you did this to Mohammed or his successor - you’d have burnt out gyms or worse, beheadings. You insult Christians and we usually quietly take it. No more. Take down your offensive and demeaning signs of our religious leader who was/is cherished by about 1.5 billion followers across the world. Maybe just leave religion and politics alone and keep the gyms clean and safe. Be better. Just do it.

Today, accusations were made by ICE against one of my caseworkers — a dedicated public servant, Army veteran, and experienced member of my team. I have every reason to believe these allegations are unfounded.   It is worth noting that ICE has refused to respond to multiple letters I’ve sent about Camp East Montana regarding deaths, including a homicide; outbreaks of diseases including COVID-19, measles, and tuberculosis; waste, fraud, and abuse; a lack of legal representation or medical care; and so much more.   This administration has a history of engaging in intimidation tactics against Members of Congress as well as continuously attempting to obstruct our ability to provide oversight.   I stand proudly by the members of my team who have demonstrated nothing but dedication and integrity to serving our nation and our community.

Veteran Action is celebrating our one-year anniversary — and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion. I intentionally launched it on the Feast of Saint Joseph. Every day I pray for veterans contemplating suicide. I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ and Saint Joseph, our patron saint, save their lives. I pray for every veteran struggling to get a medical appointment at the VA — that they are miraculously seen. Those prayers are the most impactful action I take as Founder & President of @VeteranAction. Not media. Not lobbying. Not fundraising. Prayer. Because prayer is action. I never planned to start a veteran nonprofit — even as the former executive director of Concerned Veterans for America. And yet, here I am. I'm grateful the Lord blessed me with this mission. I served as an infantry rifle platoon leader in Afghanistan during the deadliest year of the war. I almost died several times. We witnessed miracles in combat that can't be explained without God. By His grace, all of my men returned home alive. I came home with all of my limbs. My struggle with post-traumatic stress was brief and limited. The Lord allowed me to start a beautiful family. I am blessed — and I feel required to serve those who aren't as fortunate. Our first year has been a wild success. All the glory goes to God. Saint Joseph has been an incredible advocate for our mission. We begin our second year like we did our first. In prayer. Saint Joseph, pray for us!

What motivation do Democrats have to change strategy? They enjoy the chaos/harm, think they can sell it to their radical base, and can keep soliciting more concessions to make it appear as a legitimate legislative standoff. Was a very bad idea for Republicans to separate off DHS funding from the rest. It was born out of a weakness from a contingent of weak kneed Members who deep down agree with Democrats that ICE should not exist but would never say so aloud because mass deportation is widely popular.
