20 Undocumented Foreign Nationals Arrested in Centurion as TMPD Clampdown Down on Illegal Immigration in Raslouw, Heuweloord and Hennopspark The Tshwane Metro Police Department arrested 20 undocumented foreign nationals in Centurion on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, for contravening the Immigration Act 13 of 2002 by being in the country illegally. The arrests were made during a by-laws enforcement operation conducted across Raslouw, Heuweloord and Hennopspark. Officers carried out the operation across residential and surrounding areas in Centurion, focusing on Raslouw, Heuweloord and Hennopspark. A total of 20 individuals were detained after being found in contravention of immigration laws, following routine by-laws enforcement activities conducted within the jurisdiction of the City of Tshwane. According to the TMPD, the enforcement forms part of its strategic plan aimed at ensuring compliance with laws and regulations across the City of Tshwane. The department said the operations are designed to promote adherence to constitutional requirements and strengthen law enforcement visibility in affected communities. The TMPD said it remains resolute in upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and security of all individuals within its jurisdiction following the arrests.
