BREAKING: Pete Hegeth's Pentagon SPITS on Catholic soldiers on Good Friday by hosting a Protestants-only chapel service with the message "No Catholic Mass."
This is absolutely jaw-dropping....
According to HuffPost's Jennifer Bendery, the Defense Department has invited over 3,500 employees to a Good Friday service at the Pentagon Chapel "except it’s only for Protestants, not Catholics." She obtained an email sent out by Air Force leadership, which laid out the outrageous abuse of religious liberty in plain text.
“Just a friendly reminder: There will be a Protestant Service (No Catholic Mass) for Good Friday today at the Pentagon Chapel,” it reads.
“I guess so the Catholics know their kind ain’t welcome. It’s so ridiculous," a Pentagon employee told her.
When Bendery reached out to the Pentagon, a spokesperson confirmed that there will not be another, separate service for Catholics in the Pentagon chapel today.
This one isn't hard to puzzle out. The Christian Nationalist movement that Hegseth is part of is Evangelical to its core. They view Catholics with something between suspicion and outright hostility. Hegseth previously invited pastor Doug Wilson to lead a prayer service at the Pentagon. Wilson has called for a Christian theocracy in America, suggested that "biblical slavery" might come back under that theocracy, and called for banning Catholic processions.
In this Evangelical vision of a Christian America, Catholic cathedrals are torn down and replaced with golden statues of Trump holding the cross.
This animosity towards Catholics is also rooted in backlash against Pope Leo XIV's outspoken anti-MAGA sentiments. He has repeatedly condemned the cruel treatment of migrants as well as Trump's illegal, bloody Iran War. Many Republicans now view Leo and by extension all Catholics as an enemy.
We stand with Leo and our Catholic soldiers, do you?
Please ❤️ and share to demand that Catholics be treated fairly in the military!

This is quite extraordinary! Armenia's PM Pashinyan describes how democratic Armenia is and Putin just sits there unable to do anything.
I have never seen Putin being insulted like this on TV.
Kate from Kharkiv@BohuslavskaKate
Wow! Pashinyan publicly humiliated Putin to his face, saying that in Armenia they have democracy, fair elections, no internet restrictions, and no political prisoners. Putin silently sat there like a pathetic wet noodle. Russia is a global joke.

MENTIROSA Y FRACASADA

BREAKING: Trump empowers J.D. Vance to terrorize blue states by dubbing him the "FRAUD CZAR" and sending him to raid communities in Los Angeles and elsewhere.
This is a five alarm emergency...
"Vice President JD Vance is now in charge of 'FRAUD' in the United States. It is massive and pervasive, and the job he will be doing, in conjunction with many great people within the Trump Administration, will be a major factor in how great the future of our Country will be," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Americans will recall that fighting alleged "fraud" was one of the major rationalizations for Operation Metro Surge, the flooding of violent, masked ICE agents into Minnesota that resulted in the killing of Alex Pretti and Renee Good as well as an untold number of civil rights violations. Trump is dusting off the playbook again.
"We will call him the 'FRAUD CZAR,' and his focus will be 'EVERYWHERE,' but primarily in those Blue States where CROOKED DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS, like those in California, Illinois, Minnesota (Somalia beware!), Maine, New York, and many others, have had a 'free for all' in the unprecedented theft of Taxpayer Money," he continued. "The numbers are so large that, if successful, we would literally be able to balance our American Budget. Raids have already started in L.A. Good Luck JD!"
This announcement is designed to exert pressure on blue states, harm Trump's political enemies, and further acclimate the populace to the sight of armed, masked federal agents on their streets. We must contend with the very real possibility that all of these operations are a dry run for disrupting polling places during the midterm elections.
We know for a fact that Trump doesn't care about fraud because his administration is rampant with corruption. He, his family, and his MAGA cronies are making money hand over foot, siphoning off our tax dollars in all manner of crooked schemes.
It's also laughably apparent that Trump doesn't actually care about balancing the federal budget. He slashed taxes for the rich and started an expensive, illegal war with Iran which has already cost roughly $40 billion with no end in sight. At the same time, he's proposing a $1.5 trillion defense budget for 2027, a stomach-churning handout to the military-industrial complex.
Whatever happens next, Vance and Trump must be held personally responsible. If even one American is harmed in these raids, both of them need to be investigated and criminally prosecuted. Hell, that needs to happen anyway based on everything that's already happened!
Please ❤️ and share if you will NEVER vote for JD Vance!

Our signal to the United States and countries in the Middle East about the Strait of Hormuz was that we were open to discussing it.
As of today, I don't see any country lifting the blockade on its own, only joint steps can bring results. Ukraine has experience with launching the Grain Corridor in the Black Sea despite Russia’s attempts to block the flow of food and other goods. The situation now is similar, but it is about energy.
Our suggestion – based on our experience – was as follows. The war and the negotiations on reopening the Hormuz Strait can go in parallel. It’s worth trying to find a diplomatic solution, and this could be beneficial for both sides in the war.
An alternative step would be to control the Strait unilaterally, as Ukraine did with the Grain Corridor. Achieving this would require interceptors, military convoys to escort the vessels, a large integrated electronic warfare network, and other tools. We stand ready to help with this.
But for now, we are not yet involved. So far, no one has made such a request. We are simply sharing our knowledge. If one day our partners want to make use of it, we would be ready.

Again. And again, the question is why. Because corrupt autocrats stick together? The fake "conservative values" propaganda? Or simply because Putin desperately needs to keep Orbán to sabotage the EU and the Trump admin seems to do whatever Putin wants?

BREAKING: BRAVO! The Catholic Archbishop of the U.S. military slams Trump's Iran War as unjust and tells Catholic troops that they should not obey "clearly immoral" orders while striving to "preserve innocent lives."
Pope Leo's marching orders are reverberating far and wide...
"Yours is in a unique ministry in the sense that you don't oversee a geographic region or any real significant church real estate," said CBS News' Ed O'Keefe during a "Face the Nation" interview with Archbishop Timothy Broglio. "You essentially minister on bases and the battlefield and so given ongoing operations right now in the Middle East, in the Caribbean, in other parts of the world, I'm curious, what is your spiritual guidance to a service member who comes seeking it?"
"Well, thank you very much for the opportunity and it varies depending on where the person is," said Broglio. "We're dealing with a situation in the Middle East now for example where the chaplains are still in place but many of the dependents have been moved to Europe or back to the United States. So they find themselves in a situation where the faithful to whom they were ministering are either gone or they're in hotels. So that changes the whole reality."
U.S. bases across the Middle East have been devastated by Iranian drone and rocket attacks, forcing mass evacuations in many places. The war, in addition to being a profound moral crime has proven to be a historic strategic disaster for America.
"And then there are others of course who are with the troops that have been moved in and of course their ministry is, in a certain sense, a little more regular but it's still a challenge because of the situation," Broglio continued.
"Given that you're a priest ministering to people in the military, I imagine much of your work, much of your focus is built around Saint Augustine and the idea of just war or when is war justified," said O'Keefe. "The idea that it's only waged as a necessity and in order that peace may be obtained and more broadly perhaps that the response is proportional."
"Correct," said Broglio.
"That's to gloss over pretty deep teachings, but essentially that's the root of it. I know that after the president, for example, threatened to take Greenland by force you had said in an interview it doesn't seem acceptable to invade a friendly nation and that such rhetoric tarnishes the image of the United States," said O'Keefe. "You said it would be an illegal and immoral order to kill deliberately the survivors of an alleged Venezuelan drug boat if they don't pose an immediate lethal threat to our armed forces. So given what's going on in the Middle East, I'm curious is the war with Iran justified?"
"I would think under the just war theory, it is not because while there was a threat with nuclear arms, it's compensating for a threat before the threat is actually realized," said the archbishop. "And I think there I would line myself up with Pope Leo who has been urging for negotiation. I realize also that you could say that 'well with whom are you going to negotiate' and that is a problem but in the meantime, lives are being lost both there and also among our troops. So it is a concern."
Most Americans would strongly agree with Broglio's assessment. This war is the definition of unjust. It was started by Trump illegally because Israel wants it. Their hope is that Iran will destabilize into a failed state, removing a regional adversary so that they can continue their territorial expansion into Gaza, Lebanon, and beyond uncontested. Trump is mass slaughtering civilians and sacrificing American troops in a war that serves zero American interests.
There are roughly 1.8 million Catholics in the U.S. military.
"And so if you're hearing from a service member who says... If your teaching, your guidance is this is not justified, what am I to do as a Catholic who's in the service?" asked O'Keefe.
"That's a very good question because obviously the way conscientious objection is set up in the United States military, you cannot object to a specific war or a specific action, you can only object 'I'm opposed to war,'" said Archbishop Broglio. "So, I would think it depends on where you are in the chain of command, obviously you know the Marine who's given an order he's not in a position really to resist that order. I mean he has to obey unless it's clearly immoral and then he would probably have to speak to his chaplain, to his chain of command."
"The question might be, would generals or admiral have space to perhaps say 'Can we look at this a different way?'" he continued. "But having spoken to some of them too, they're also in the same dilemma. So I guess my counsel would be to do as little harm as you can and try to preserve innocent lives."
O'Keefe then asked the bishop what he thinks about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's efforts to "cast this war as something that perhaps Jesus would justify."
"It's a little bit problematic in the sense that... You know the Lord Jesus certainly brought a message of peace and also I think war is always a last resort," said Broglio. "Now, you know, they may have information that led them to think that that was the only choice they had. I'm not making a judgement about that because I really don't know. But I do think that it's hard to cast this war, you know, as something that would be sponsored by the Lord."
"And that's certainly something that the pope has suggested himself, right?" asked O'Keefe. "Not commenting on the secretary but commenting on war generally that this idea that, you know, as you're praying for the success of the war. What is it he said recently? God does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them. That would seem to put a lot of what's going on right now in conflict."
"It certainly would and I turn back to [Pope] Paul VI who made very few trips outside of Italy," said Broglio. "But when he did come to the UN he made that dramatic appeal, which I saw live on television as a little kid. 'Jamais plus la guerre, jamais plus la guerre! Never again war! Never again war! And yet that was in 1965 I think. Now, so many years later we're still in this situation so I think I Pope Leo would definitely support saying that we have to find a situation where men and women can sit down and find avenues of peace."
It's worth noting that Broglio is considered one of the most conservative Catholic bishops in the United States, so his words will carry additional weight with soldiers who generally lean right.
The full CBS interview will air on Easter Sunday and is sure to go off like a bomb in MAGA world, where hardcore Trumpers have already declared Pope Leo and the Catholic Church their sworn enemies. As for us, we stand with Broglio, Leo, and the peacemakers.
No. More. War.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Archbishop Broglio!
