Advanced recycling turns plastic waste into valuable products—meeting consumer demand and drawing billions in private investment. To unlock its full potential across the energy sector, we need clear, consistent rules and fewer regulatory roadblocks. It’s good for the economy, good for the environment, and solves a serious problem with plastic waste. I’ll keep leading on this issue through my work in Congress and look forward to working with @epaleezeldin on this common sense policy solution.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act represents a key step toward putting U.S. manufacturing first. We commend President Donald Trump—this new law should strengthen plastic product production and drive momentum, investment, and job creation across the U.S.

We encourage the swift & bipartisan confirmation of @ChrisAWright_ as Secretary of Energy. Mr. Wright’s leadership, combined with his commitment to economic growth and job creation, aligns closely with the priorities of the plastics industry.

The U.S. economy grew by 2.8% in 2024, slightly surpassing PLASTICS' forecast of 2.7%.
