Even the most minimum of programmer wages I know of could afford a tool like that in 1-2 days of use. What are you talking about.

Professional Programmers: Stop being cheap and starting paying for your tools. $99 for a Text Editor which you'll spend 7+ hours a day in—how is that even an issue? Same with loads of tools like Superluminal at €289. If you're a developer, you're making that back in days.

A small ship I love: We made Claude.ai and our desktop apps meaningful faster this week. We moved our architecture from SSR to a static @vite_js & @tan_stack router setup that we can serve straight from workers at the edge. Time to first byte is down 65% at p75, prompts show up 50% sooner, navigation is snappier. We're not done (not even close!) but we care and we'll keep chipping away. Aiming to make Claude a little better every day.

Ha! Good shitposting. But, seriously,“Confirm before action” is not a wise instruction to give to OpenClaw. Upon receiving that command the model knows it is now in a conundrum: It knows that you want it to ask for confirmation, also deducts you wouldn’t want to be asked on every one of the myriad actions it does in the background to complete a task because this way the simplest task would take an eternity. Ultimately it has to DECIDE which actions to ask you for confirmation and you, unknowingly, are giving it that decision power.

Your AI agent keeps giving me the numbers to the restaurant and delivery partner without resolving the issue. It also refuses to bring in a human to resolve the issue. This is a disaster.

@mitchellh I'm quite shocked at this suggestion because I usually agree with you. I'd take a predictable fs over an arbitrary list generated outside my control any day. Then again, I also feel this way about many things like "recent/suggested emoji/files/settings/etc".

The default source view for forges like GitHub today should be a derived tree of categorically related subsystems/components plus an agentic search bar, not the literal filesystem layout. Something close to this: haskellforall.com/2026/02/browse… I now default to finding what I need in codebases via agents. They do a better job finding the details I usually miss by just manually reading the files. I always backstop the search with "link to how you found this" so I can open my editor and read the code myself, but it gets me to the right place so much faster. Example from today: ampcode.com/threads/T-019c… But I do this constantly. And for both familiar and unfamiliar codebases!

.@Swiggy takes ~20-25% commission from the restaurant. ₹300 for 3 months of Swiggy One AND ₹15 as platform fee per order, from the customer. And likely none of this would even benefit the delivery agent any, because it's not "delivery fees".

Microsoft has filed a DMCA takedown on a tiny voxel game Allumeria on Steam. This is ridiculous. All their art and code is original, its not even in the same programming language. At the very least this demands an official statement from Mojang what the point of this is.
