False. This is a misrepresentation. The data only shows that more young women identify as liberal than in the past. That does not mean that individual liberal women are becoming more liberal or even that women have changed their views. The reason more young women identify as liberal is because conservatives have been seriously threatening women’s rights. The open threats to women’s rights are why more young women, who have the most to lose from abortion bans for example, identify as liberal. This should not be hard to figure out.

So this is where you don't understand, you're the one being exploited, not necessarily the workers, because you'll pay for that coffee shop through your taxation system. "Universal credit" is propping up low wages for workers. Just because the government is giving with one hand and taking with the other doesn't mean the whole system isn't completely exploitative. Somebody, somewhere, is making money out of this.

To be honest, you don't actually have a business. You have a business based on exploitation, which means your business model is neither sound nor ethical.
Peter McCormack 🏴‍☠️🇬🇧🇮🇪@PeterMcCormack

A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop, it would have to close, as would many other businesses. I’ll explain for the economically illiterate. Staff costs are currently half our costs, a £15 minimum wage is actually more than £15 an hour for the company, because you have to add: - 12.07% holiday - Sick pay - Maternity pay if and when required - National insurance - Pension contributions These costs would mean the shop loses money because remember, energy costs are up, rates are up, regulations are up. Now you can pass these costs onto the consumer - that would mean charging a lot more for coffee, people won’t pay it. The likes of Starbucks and Costa can, because they have economies of scale. The independent doesn’t. Now the little socialist will say well this is your fault, if you can’t run a business that can afford to pay its staff properly, but the little socialist has never run a business and does not understand the dynamics. Now I could pay some staff off and fill those hours myself or reduce us to one staff member during certain periods - but this proves the point that a minimum wage costs jobs. There was a time when these jobs were done by kids, perhaps on the weekend, paid a lower wage, no holiday and no silly employment rights. Perhaps they were even paid cash. The dynamic worked and small businesses like this could operate. It was also a great first job. Sadly now it isn’t worth employing entitlement youngsters at this level of pay. So alas, I don’t need the stress, the business would close, a number of jobs would be lost. Economics is about understanding these dynamics, no vibes. The cost of living is not solved through passing on inflation to the business, it is solved by ending high inflation and creating prosperity. This is what socialists don’t understand, they can’t create prosperity, they can only destroy it.

@cmwrawcliffe @naomi2009 @TommyPettonJr Why not pay servers 100 per hour so they can live well? Coffee would cost 75 per cup to support this wage. No one could afford to buy the coffee and the business would close. The value to customers of a server is minimal so the pay is minimal

@naomi2009 @TommyPettonJr If you need to rely on your staff to get in work benefits to feed, clothe and house themselves, then you also have no idea about hiring staff. Pretending that you've a sustainable business when it's based on the welfare state is disengenuous.

If you can't pay people a wage they can live on, your business is subsidised by the state. And that's NOT a sound business model. The economically illiterate person is you, pretending to be a good businessman while expecting others to support you through their taxes .

Just so we are ALL CLEAR on what happened today... Educators and school administrators single-handedly CANCELLED SCHOOL for 700,000 North Carolina students... ...INCLUDING MY SON!!! To wave signs around in the street instead. The signs vary from: a) F**K ICE!!! b) Defeat Trump's Agenda c) Trump is a N*ZI d) ICE OUT!!! e) Protect trans kids f) Refuse fascism g) Stop bombing schools DO NOT TELL ME THIS WAS ABOUT KIDS. IT NEVER WAS. This was ADULTS using 700,000 children, INCLUDING MINE, as political leverage against a president they don't like. That is despicable. You know better... DO BETTER.

@FearedBuck I’m totally willing to say that African people have genetic traits that are predisposed to having these extreme athletic dispositions, which I think people would readily admit. Why can’t people talk about genetics in relation to intelligence though?

Clemson had more NFL Draft picks than wins this past season. Too much talent to underperform like that. If you’re sending more guys to the league than games you’re winning, the issue isn’t talent, it’s development, coaching, and execution.

OPINION: Babe Ruth would be a bust in the modern era. He never played against the best African American or overseas players. He dominated an era where pitchers were mediocre, fatigued and had primitive training. He was unhealthy and unfit, and ultimately a defensive liability.
