@MLB_Mudcats @MLBRaleigh Raleigh Oaks sounds like the name of a golf course, an exclusive gated community, and/or a senior living facility. I’d prefer Carolina Reapers, but could live with the Carolina Mudcats.

Charlotte struggles with their professional sports..a touchy subject! But true!

@MLB_Mudcats There’s certain team names/mascots that are just so perfect, maybe even iconic, to where anything else in those places would be a disappointment. Mudcats, Bulls, Barons, Lookouts, Bisons, Sounds, Isotopes, Tides, Green Jackets certainly come to mind.
