افتخار داشتم در «کنگره آزادی ایران» در لندن شرکت کنم و درباره اقتصاد ایران، ضرورت شکلگیری نهادهای فراگیر در دوره گذار، و همچنین آثار رفع تحریمها و افزایش بهرهوری در مسیر گذار به دموکراسی سخن بگویم.

The United States and Iran could meet soon in Pakistan following indirect contacts, Germany’s foreign minister said on Friday, according to Reuters.
“Based on my information there have been indirect contacts, and preparations have been made to meet directly,” Johann Wadephul said, adding the meeting would be “very soon in Pakistan.”

NEW: The head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Navy, Alireza Tangsiri, who directly commanded the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, was targeted in a strike overnight, a senior Israeli official told Fox News. At the time of the strike, Tangsiri was with his senior operational leadership at a covert naval command center in Bandar Abbas, I'm told. Battle damage assessment is ongoing, but officials believe the strike, that was conducted based on joint U.S. and Israeli intelligence, likely killed Tangsiri.
