Lifesaving tip! People who are gasping, especially kids and elderly, cannot coordinate breathing with a device.
A spacer is essential. If you don't have one, anything that conforms to the face and contains the spray will work- a paper cup, a few sheets of paper rolled up.

If you have a puffer like this, use a spacer! geeky af but i promise you'll get shitloads more of the medication into your lungs with it.

Thanks to @SaferCareVic for designing and funding our Safewards trials at Sunshine and Footscray. Early results suggest that not only is it preventing aggression, it's also improving care and the hospital experience for our patients.

All consumers of health care take note. One of the simplest safety measures in hospital is to have someone sitting with you who’s not afraid to sing out.

This is a critical point. Japan’s aged care was already great, but they made improvements in preparation for COVID coming to Japan. In other countries, many elderly people died of neglect, mistreatment, and poor healthcare services, alone and barred from their families.

Japan has suffered just 18 covid deaths per million people, by far the lowest in the G7, without mass testing or strict lock downs econ.st/3gFgri1

@VicGovDHHS I thought the case in Shepparton yesterday was reclassified as a false positive. Meaning the 14 day rolling average for regional Vic should be 0.
English

Yesterday there were 15 new cases & the loss of 1 life reported. In Metro Melbourne, the 14 day rolling average is down from yesterday & the number of cases with unknown source is the same. Info: dhhs.vic.gov.au/averages-easin…

@petitemelbourne @NeotipPro Thanks. Your article supports my initial statement. Particularly regarding the fact that the flu is not a reportable infection and that the true numbers are unknown.

@MMMAYY01 @NeotipPro Seriously the last time I’m Googling stuff for you guys. Covid is more deadly than flu. A quick google, seriously

Why is no one talking about the fact that as the number of cases increase, the mortality and hospitalisation rates drop? When almost all deaths are of the elderly or sick, why isn’t the focus on protecting them instead of restricting the healthy?

@NeotipPro You know people that aren’t sick or vulnerable can also die from COVID?
