@BackintheBronze Thought a nice story could be had around Cobra & Hyde .... Cobra tries to go straight, sneaking out and doing good deeds behind Hyde's back only to get discovered. They split, but Hyde wants his partner back and tempts him with criminal fun. Cobra has to turn in his partner etc

@GraceRandolph Yeah .... when movie review focuses on the merch and social media campaign as much as the movie might be a sign of trouble Very happy for hardcore who loved it (and loving box office overall in 2026) but that Cinemascore is gonna leave a mark. Camp is a hard sell for mainstream

Steven Spielberg’s #DisclosureDay is fantastic! There’s just something about big, awe-inspiring Spielberg storytelling paired with a John Williams score that combines for an incredibly thrilling, engrossing cinematic experience. This is masterful blockbuster filmmaking — the kind that grabs hold of an audience from the opening scene and never lets go. It reminded me of a modern-era Indiana Jones adventure, except it’s less about a scrappy hero uncovering the artifact and more about getting that discovery into the hands of the world. Fantastical yet grounded, it delivers a full meal of adventure, mystery and spectacle while still leaving you hungry for more.

@BackintheBronze Roy Thomas was clearly having fun playing with his 40's era heroes - almost too much fun - felt like a new team or hero was introduced every issue of the Invaders. His enthusiasm shone through and I enjoyed the niche he created. (Just wish they'd given Robbins a better inker)

@TheRochaSays D+ already provided an example of what happens trying to convert streaming characters to the big screen with The Marvels - hell, back in the 3 Network days TV stars failed by the dozens trying to make it in movies. Now audiences are even more niche. No one knows these characters

Seeing too many "analysts" using a film based on a streaming show (that was popular for people in the Star Wars bubble) as evidence that Star Wars is in trouble theatrically. I don't buy it. Most Star Wars casuals prolly didn't watch the show since, again, it was a streaming show. While others didn't feel the pull to go because they saw that it wasn't pushing the canon forward in any major way. So they could just wait for it on...streaming. It's foolish IMO to treat the disappointing box office of Mando and Grogu as some three alarm fire for Star Wars. Starfighter will be the true test case of where Star Wars is in the public's eye. I think some of these "analysts" are just trying to get clicks for their articles or videos or content with that take.
