$VOO has historically generated higher total returns. $SCHD offers a higher dividend yield. $SCHD typically has lower volatility. $VOO has a more growth-heavy portfolio. Considering we are just at the beginning of the AI and space exploration boom, I would go with $VOO over the next decade if I could only choose one.

Which is better for the next 10 years? $SCHD with its high dividend yield… Or $VOO for growth…

We have all been there. Before I make any purchase I always look at the long term plan. I missed the $OKLO boat but I did purchase $SMR so I am hoping for some serious price appreciation in the next 3-5 years. By 2030, $SMR could be a $120 stock or it could be a penny stock. I'm betting on $120.

DRIP is so important!! DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Plan) is an automated investment program offered by a corporation or brokerage firm that allows investors to automatically reinvest their cash dividends into additional shares—or fractional shares—of the underlying stock or exchange-traded fund (ETF) rather than receiving the payout as cash. I have the "income" portion of my account on autopilot, generating over 4 shares of $SPYI, 2 shares of $JEPQ, and 1 share each of $CHPY, $FEPI, and $QQQI every month. I will just let those shares accumulate for another 5-7 years until I decide to draw out the income. This allows me invest additional money into my core and growth funds like $FXAIX, $VUG, $SOXQ, AND $SCHD (among others) every 2 weeks. If you are not DRIPping, you are missing out on future $$$.

I know I am a little late to the semi-conductor party but I did pick up some shares of Invesco Phlx Semiconductor ETF $SOXQ yesterday and so far the ETF is doing well, up 3.54%.
