Of the 55 years of my life, have lived in an independent South delhi house for 44 yrs, college hostel for 4 yrs, US apartment 5 yrs and a GGN condo for last 2. I can confirm that the quality of life in a condo is far superior. It makes up for the lack of good municipality services of the govt, and backups for basics. Power water and Security. I have made more new friends in last 2 yrs than the last 32 yrs. I am playing more sports and participating in more activities that ever before. Just because they are available at your doorstep.
