@heitner The school isn't removing any rights, both parties are agreeing to a certain set of terms and conditions and presumably represented by legal counsel familiar with basic contact law. This is a much needed change to avoid the Duke Miami situation.

This would allow schools to contractually remove rights that players otherwise have via NCAA Bylaws. Specifically, schools would not need to enter players into the transfer portal if they waive the right in their rev share agreements.

My interpretation was that Folgueiras was trying to punch the ball. If he tried to punch Condon he would have connected because he was lying on top of him. It was up to the refs to determine whether he made enough contact with Condon to warrant an ejection, and apparently they did not.
