95 year old Samuel Wako Wambuzi born January 23, 1931, served three times as the Chief Justice of Uganda; from 1972 to 1975, 1979 to 1980 & 1986 to 2001. Sharp dresser, stands upright, & dances unaided. He must have been a just jurist. They don't make them anymore. God is kind.

Jesus purifies not only our image of God from the idolatry and blasphemy that have distorted it, but also our image of humanity. For we tend to consider ourselves powerful when we dominate, victorious when we destroy our equals, great when we are feared. #HolyThursday vatican.va/content/leo-xi…

I want to wish all my friends around the world who are celebrating Easter a glorious weekend.
For Christians, Easter is a time to reflect on the gift of Christ and his teachings to our world. For example, when asked which was the most important of the commandments, Jesus pointed to two:
1. Love God
2. Love thy neighbour as thyself
Anyone who publicly expresses their love for God while failing to demonstrate their love for their neighbours is choosing to ignore what Christ taught them.
Anyone who demonstrates daily contempt for their neighbours will have to justify that to God when the time comes; I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when it does.

Imagine someone came here next week and said God 6000 years ago gave this land to their forefathers and because of that we all have to leave it. We are then pushed into a small part of Karamoja and we have to ask permission to go back to a last that was just last week ours. There are Christians who find such an arrangement fair and Biblical. You resist and insist you want to go back to where you lived, you are shot dead. All you have to do is accept the new arrangement. Later on even that strip given to you is also slowly chopped when the new group needs more land.

Today we celebrate the life of Pastor John M. Ekudu-Adoku, Dean of Students at Makerere University (1995–2010). A loyal patriot who stayed during Uganda’s turbulent years, he served as Warden, navigated student crises with wisdom, and became a father figure to thousands of alumni. Through faith and resilience, he turned challenges into stepping stones. We extend our sincerest condolences to the family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Hi Margie,
Good morning.
I don’t want this apology in my inbox. Your apology should be as loud as your disrespect.
What you’re calling “social media” is real life for some of us. I don’t understand why you continue to treat people’s lives like a game.
And let’s be clear; you cannot compare yourself to me. I was defending my friend at the time. You, on the other hand, are defending someone who has harassed me for four years. If you stopped associating with him tomorrow, you would likely become one of his targets. You cannot dismiss people’s lived experiences simply because he is kind to you now.
Also, no, you do not accord me any respect. If you did, you would never have made those posts when someone who hacked me was sharing my private messages. (Imagine if he had posted the screenshot where you were calling me a superwoman????)
That was not entertainment. That was my real life and my abuse was never supposed to be a source for engagement on your X.
I will not participate in this pretense. You were part of a clique that bullied me for a week, so please don’t come into my inbox now with statements like “we post things we don’t intend.” If anything, let this be a lesson to post with intention.
And to be clear, I cannot make peace with someone who is comfortable with other women being harassed and abused. You are part of the problem, and I do not accept your apology.
Have a good day.
