Secretary Hegseth now joins President Trump and vice president Vance, in having explicitly admitted that there was no imminent threat of a nuclear breakout. Thus, there was no justification for this war, under any circumstances.
The very weak attempt the secretary makes to try and explain away his admission is not credible. Because one cannot simultaneously argue there was an “imminent threat“ and also hold that all the nuclear material is still buried under a mountain somewhere. It’s impossible for them to coexist.

HEGSETH ADMITS IRAN WAS NOT CLOSE TO A NUCLEAR WEAPON & INSTEAD THEY HAD ‘AMBITIONS’ & WERE ‘SLOW WALKING’ TO ONE. This was never about Nuclear weapons.

I mourn the passing of Patrick Mukabi, the artist behind the iconic paintings in all Java House wall paintings. As a newbie journalist, my bery first assignment was to cover the story of how Mukabi memorialised the 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Nairobi. I have followed his work over the years and my best series from his collection was Market Women. Mukabi did a lot of work teaching youngsters to paint. But above all, he immortalised many aspects of Nairobi social life. He is a national treasure. The city of Nairobi owes him a great of gratitude. We need a City Arts Council to recognise such artists Wangui Maina and Dennis Onsarigo.

Flying between African cities forces many travelers to transit outside the continent, through London, Paris or Dubai. But a $12.5 billion airport under construction in Ethiopia could help change that. cnn.it/4mLS4Bj

How many of these things have you noticed:
1. Malls don’t have windows so you won’t realize it’s already dark outside…
You lose track of time and stay longer.
2. Bars don’t display clocks so you don’t notice how long you’ve been there…
You keep drinking, spending more.
3. Restaurants play fast, upbeat music so you eat quicker and leave sooner…
Making space for the next customer.
4. Cafés play slow, relaxing music so you stay longer and end up ordering more.
5. Supermarkets place essentials like milk at the back so you walk through the store and pick up things you didn’t plan to buy.
Everything is intentional.
Nothing is random.

To those who remember this controversial building at Yaya Centre—once stalled for decades due to a dispute that left its drainage system blocked. Today tells a different story. The Chinese team stepped in, resolved the long-standing drainage issue, and revived the project. It is now being transformed into a five-star hotel, with the adjacent grey structure designated for parking.
