Every possession is unique! Instead of dictating the 'right' play after the fact, I want to equip players with the basketball IQ to make the best read on the next one!

Winning is fun, but true player development focuses on the process! Seeing growth in your decision-making, more assists and less turnovers is the ultimate victory!

To truly be an 'Elite' program, the focus has to be on teaching foundational defensive principles! Mastering man-to-man principles is what actually gets players ready for their next step.

5) Recover: At some point everyone gets beat, the difference maker is in how you react and recover to the ball. - Turn your hips and run with a cross step - Take a good angle - Pick a spot in front of the ball, and beat them there - Stop the ball, don't focus on stealing it

4) Chest to Chest: Staying chest to chest when OFF attacks. OFF wants to drive in straight lines to rim. Going chest to chest with the OFF forces them to change their angle. - Hands out, resist reaching for the ball - Absorb contact - First step to catch the move
