As part of the Palestinian Government's response to support displaced families in Gaza, MOPWH, in partnership with @UNDPPalestinian, has completed the Al-Farra Shelter Centre in Khan Younis. The site provides more than 100 fiberglass shelter units, offering safer, more durable, and dignified living conditions than conventional tents. It is one of 19 shelter centres delivered in partnership with UNDP, complete with water tanks and sanitation facilities. #Gaza #ShelterResponse @pal_gcc_en

Together with @UNDPPalestinian and our partners, we continue to advance debris management efforts across Gaza — a scale of destruction that demands sustained international support, greater operational capacity, and coordinated action to pave the way for reconstruction. #Gaza #EarlyRecovery

Despite an extremely challenging operating environment, access constraints, and limited availability of heavy machinery and fuel, @UNDP continues to work hand in hand with the @MOPWH_Palestine, as part of the Debris Management Working Group, to create the conditions for early recovery. With more than 60 million tonnes of debris across #Gaza, the scale of the task remains immense. Even under these conditions, UNDP has so far: ✅ Removed 522,000+ tonnes of debris. ✅ Crushed 202,000+ tonnes of rubble for reuse. ✅ Reused 263,000+ tonnes of recycled materials. 📽️ Watch the video and hear directly from community members about how these efforts are helping restore access to essential services and improve everyday life.

MOPWH continues debris removal and management operations across Gaza, in partnership with UNDP and implemented by the Saudi Cultural Center, to support early recovery and improve access to critical facilities. Recent works include completing debris clearance at Al-Aqsa University, improving access roads to the Central Medical Warehouse, and upgrading internal roads and yards at Al-Shifa Medical Complex using recycled crushed debris. #Gaza #DebrisManagement

⭕️ تواصل وزارة الأشغال العامة والإسكان، بالشراكة مع UNDP وبتنفيذ المركز الثقافي السعودي، أعمال إزالة وإدارة الركام في قطاع غزة لدعم التعافي المبكر وتحسين الوصول إلى المرافق الحيوية. وشملت الأعمال استكمال إزالة الركام في موقع جامعة الأقصى، وتحسين الطرق المؤدية إلى مخزن الأدوية المركزي، إضافة إلى تسوية الطرق والساحات الداخلية في مجمع الشفاء الطبي باستخدام ناتج كسارة الركام. #غزة #إدارة_الركام

In partnership with @UNDPPalestinian , the Ministry of Public Works and Housing has completed the construction, equipping, and handover of the 'Shaat' Shelter Center in western Khan Younis. Covering an area of 4.5 dunums, the site accommodates 67 tents, including two service units, and features 22 sanitation facilities and seven water tanks with capacities ranging from 1,500 to 1,700 litres, helping improve living conditions for displaced families in the Gaza Strip. #Gaza #ShelterResponse #Palestine

All Temporary Housing Units (RHUs) at Al-Baraksat Camp have now been installed and handed over, bringing the total to 91 fully equipped units.
