Earlier this year, mezuzahs were ripped from the doors of the Toronto residence where Holocaust survivor Nate Leipciger lives with other survivors.
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day at the @NYSE we presented Nate with a new mezuzah made in Southern Israel from fragments of an Iranian missile fired at Israel last June.
Nate and this mezuzah are proof that the Jewish spirit can never be broken.
Am Yisrael Chai 💙.

This week, the International Olympic Committee came under fire for selling merchandise commemorating the 1936 Berlin Games, the Olympics Adolf Hitler used as a global stage to promote his racist ideology.
March of the Living CEO Scott Saunders in an interview with @CNN :
“As the world reflects on this latest controversy, it is impossible not to recall that we are approaching 90 years since the 1936 Berlin Olympics — an event the Nazi regime used to legitimize itself on the global stage while persecution of Jews was already well underway.
Sport has the power to unite, to inspire, and to elevate the very best of humanity. But history reminds us that it can also be manipulated to sanitize hatred and normalize exclusion.
The lesson of Berlin is urgent. When antisemitism resurfaces in public life, whether in stadiums, streets, or online, silence is not neutrality. It is complicity.”
History should never be commercialized at the expense of remembrance and truth.

We remember.
We march.
We bear witness.
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the memory of six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and the survivors who continue to share their testimony.
As their voices grow fewer, our responsibility to preserve their stories grows greater.
Sponsor a Holocaust survivor to join this year’s March of the Living and help ensure their testimony is heard by the next generation.

I met with Sara Weinstein, an inspiring Holocaust survivor, ahead of the UN’s International Holocaust Remembrance Day events.
On this moving day, following the return of Ran Gvili, the last hostage held by Hamas in Gaza, this meeting takes on a different meaning.
We will never forget what happened to the Jewish people in the Holocaust, and who was behind these crimes. Am Israel Chai! 🇮🇱

On January 20, 1942, 15 high-ranking Nazi officials sat down at a luxury villa to implement a genocide - the murder of eleven million Jews residing in 34 countries throughout Europe.
Now known as the infamous Wannsee Conference, American prosecutors later described the minutes from this meeting as “perhaps the most shameful document of modern history.”
After the Wannsee Conference “The Final Solution” became the overarching goal of Nazi Germany, as they single-handedly pursued their goal of total extermination of Europe’s Jews.
Almost half of the 15 high-ranking Nazi officials who attended the Wannsee Conference held PhDs or advanced law degrees.
“Education itself is not enough”, noted Scott Saunders, CEO of International March of the Living. “Pre-war Germany was one of the most educated societies in the world. What is critically important is the type of education being imparted.”

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”- Martin Luther King Jr.
This video highlights Black soldiers who helped liberate Nazi camps and Jewish activists who stood with Dr. King in the Civil Rights Movement.
A reminder: the fight against hatred is always collective.
Today we honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy of justice and human dignity.

As the number of Holocaust survivors dwindles, time is running out to hear their testimonies firsthand.
We’re working to bring as many survivors as possible to this year’s March of the Living to educate thousands of young people and confront hate, but we need your help.

Holocaust survivors endured unimaginable atrocities.
With fewer survivors among us each year, the chance to hear their voices and walk beside them is slipping away.
There are survivors who hope to join this year’s March of the Living, but they cannot do it alone.

This year’s March of the Living may be the final chance for young participants to walk alongside Holocaust survivors in Auschwitz and bear witness to their stories firsthand.
Survivors like Nate and Eva are hoping to march this Yom HaShoah with thousands from around the world, but they cannot do it alone.
Here's why they are marching:
