This morning our #PublicOrder policing plan includes colleagues from; Emergency Response, Neighbourhoods, volunteer Special Constabulary @MPSSpecials and assistance from our colleagues @kent_police. There are a number of planned protests and we will respond to them accordingly.

A Section 35 Dispersal Order has been authorised by Superintendent May- Robinson at 1843 hours in order to disperse a group on Trafalgar Square who have been firing fireworks into crowds & towards police officers. The Dispersal Order will remain in place until 0100 hours 5/11/23.

Our traffic units have been speaking to those gathering for a car meet at Gallions Reach Retail Park in East London. They have advised drivers with regards to potential anti social behaviour and traffic offences.

We are aware of people lighting flares/fireworks within the group. This is clearly a danger to them and those around them. Action will be taken when we identify those in possession of/throwing them.
