I am totally new to AI, and I have found Otter.AI to be a fantastic avenue to automatically record meetings, draft meeting minutes, and summarize meetings. For #TEACHers this can help capture lessons for absent students and draft department notes #Einsteinfellows23

I'm new to #AI in education. Where can I find resources for beginners? Tag your favorites and don't forget to use the hashtag #EinsteinFellows23 and ask others to join as we chat all day long.

What a wonderful experience taking with Thomas for @physicstp!!! I've loved the podcast for so 👏 many 👏 years 👏 and I truly enjoyed sharing! I hope to get together again and hopefully also talk with @RobinSGriffiths 😎 #teachertwitter @Einsteinfellows23 linkedin.com/posts/michael-…

A2: Simply having the opportunity to participate in CS is so profoundly important. I worked, for example, at getting @arduino tech into my classroom (CS is way outside my background)... these small efforts with conversations on career paths truly help students #EinsteinFellows23

The intersectionality of identity is an important piece in creating a more equitable learning experience in CS classrooms and can provide more socially just outcomes. What strategies support the development of positive #STEM identities in students and adults? #EinsteinFellows23

A1: @jerome_hruska is a tech and engineering teacher and robotics coach at @urhsteched who does an absolutely fantastic job growing CS skills in students! I am totally inspired by Jerome and the robots his @seaperch / @VEXRobotics teams build every year!! #EinsteinFellows23

@Bg_teach Oh hell yes! Literally, any subject can do this including non-stem subject. But, yes, bad genetics is rampant in film! I want to do this now!! lol Also, you can "explain the real super hero skill" by looking at the broken science in the movie which is fun #EinstenFellows23

(A3) I've ended my years in Physics with a "Bad Physics Movie" project, where students find examples of bad physics in film and explain what's wrong. Bollywood, anime, and super hero movies are consistently terrible!! Works in any class #EinsteinFellows23 #STEMeducation #TEACHers

@DenisecWright @codeorg @AEF_Program I have seen so much success with coding at the elementary level!!! Across numerous 👏 states 👏. I hope teachers at all levels feel encouraged to try exploring and and including coding and robotics in their claims... it's doable and quite fun! #EinstenFellows23

@cjbj9612 @AEF_Program Relatability can be so difficult to... *do* (phrasing?). For me, bad dad jokes work (once we're through the first semester and the students are it's okay to laugh)... it takes time but being a goof with students works, even though it's super embarrassing lol #EinstenFellows23

@AEF_Program I feel that the most effective teacher is that person who is relatable. I always share stories about my background with my students. Once of my most powerful stories was about how I was born and raised in poverty and what it took for me to get out of it. #EinsteinFellows23

(A2) What do you want to students to remember? This core question guides how informal learning opportunities connect to class standards/practices. Encourage students to apply their skill to anything: games, sports, shows, anything! #EinsteinFellows23 #STEMeducation #TEACHers

(Intro) My lifeline has always been my wife, Melissa, and our continuous effort to find balance between work and home-life. Balance is key to sustainability, and I truly feel most teachers do not find this balance, exacerbating to teacher burnout #EinsteinFellows23 #teacher #STEM

@MPStewart13 I don't know how to express this through text and gifs without seeming insincere. Genuinely: This is very sweet.

@_fysteam @AEF_Program I've never coached because it seems like such a time dump... I'm glad you got so much out of the experience!! I'm sure your students loved seeing you in that coaching capacity! #EinstenFellows23
