If people want to know why Gen X is always mad, it's because we had to replace our record collections with a tape collection and then replace that with a CD collection that we slowly replaced with an MP3 collection and now need a subscription to listen to music.

@jchaase @WilliamShatner Maybe it's nice to not need to plug a car in every single day. I fill up with gas once per month. Never ever worry about plugging it in. It also uses zero power and costs nothing sitting in the driveway. I go on vacation and come home and gas tank exactly the same.

@WilliamShatner You’re telling me you went non-stop 300 miles? I need to stop to pee on a trip of that length, perhaps acquire a snack. Fill up the car with electrons while you go in. Or, I guess be dehydrated and take the gas car to save 15 mins. I’ll drive the Tesla.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

If you drive a gas guzzler, Tesla is offering 0% APR for 6 years . Gas soon gonna be $8. Something to consider.
