While there are many limitations to this small exploratory study it does appear to point towards increased educational efficacy with digital simulations. However is that small gain worth the time investment of running it? Lots of good talking points worth exploring here.

The experimental class’s mastery increased from 47%~77% with top performers increasing from 70%~96%.

Just conducted an informal experiment in class. One class received traditional instruction (lecture, video, activity) format while the other class received instruction via digital simulator (@PdxInteractive hearts of iron IV). Results 👇
