@Ezeakachidozie @cbngov_akin1 @officialABAT Good, security cooperation is key. But to really tackle terrorism, we need to take it to the next level with joint exercises and training from partners like the U.S. They bring a wealth of experience to help us protect our families and bring stability back to our country.

During her strategic visit to Lagos, EU High Representative Kaja Kallas engaged in high-level discussions with President @officialABAT and National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu at the President’s residence. We are all testifying to the fact that under NSA Ribadu’s leadership, Nigeria is actively advancing coordinated responses to emerging security threats while strengthening ties with international partners, including enhanced cooperation with the EU on counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and combating transnational crime. We will get their one day.

@renoomokri Peter Obi is your problem and remain so for a long time. You have already used that to get ambassadorial appointment, but still you can't leave him alone. You are just being economical with the truth, attacks and adoptions in kwara state and bombings by Boko Haram in Bornu state

This is the first time in 12 years that Nigeria has celebrated Christmas, New Year, and Eid-el-Fitri in peace! On Friday, December 26, 2025, which was Boxing Day, no less a personality than the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Reverend Daniel Okoh, revealed that the Christmas of 2025 was the first time in many years that Nigeria had celebrated that August day in peace, without bombings, killings, abductions, or disruptions. Of course, since it was good news, that piece of significant, nationally strategic information did not receive much media attention. Peter Obi, the eternal purveyor of bad and fake news, did not amplify it because it did not fit into his narrative of de-marketing Nigeria. He had eagerly anticipated bad news during the Yuletide to feed his propaganda machine. Alas, there was none! But you may want to fact-check me by reading the Most Reverend Okoh's comments. At least, nobody can accuse him of trying to curry favour with President Tinubu. But was it only the Christmas that was peaceful? No! Nigeria entered New Year's Day without incident: no deaths, threats, or anything to negatively affect the health of Nigerians on that day. And now, we have celebrated Eid-el-Fitri on Friday, March 20, 2023, and the Durbars that followed the next day all over Northern Nigeria, without a single incident of killing, maiming, harming, or any damning event. Do you know the last time this happened? Please fact-check me: The last time was twelve years ago! Not only that, but there were no Yuletide or Eid fuel shortages. That is an all-time record. There has been no precedent for that in independent Nigeria! However, you do not see the usual suspects, activists, and professional pessimists and their foreign sponsors highlighting this fact. They are silent. Good news is not to be celebrated. But if one person had been killed by an act of terror or sheer criminality, you would have seen them hyperactively amplifying the bad news to destroy Nigeria's reputation! Do these people, or the larger Nigerian society, think that these feats on religious holy days and holidays just happened? No, they did not! They were made to happen through the planning, actions, and sacrifices of our armed forces and intelligence services. Our troops slept in bushes, deserts, forests, gutters, and other utterly nasty places so we could sleep in our beds and enjoy peace and bliss! Many of the terrorists and bandits, who in Christmases and Eids of time past had been wreaking havoc on Nigeria and Nigerians, have either been killed, are behind bars, or are in the process of being tried, including: 1. Kachalla Ali Kawaje 2. Kachalla Halilu Sububu 3. Kachalla Damina 4. Kachalla Dangote 5. Kachalla Jafaru 6. Kachalla Barume 7. Kachalla Shehu 8. Tsoho 9. Kachalla Yellow Mai Buhu 10. Yellow Sirajo 11. Kachalla Dan Muhammadu 12. Kachalla Makasko 13. Yellow Hassan 14. Boderi 15. Kachalla Dan Ba birki 16. Auta Dan Mai Jan Kai The notorious TikTok bandit, Sule Yellow, was arrested only last week by troops of the Nigerian Army, who acted on intelligence provided by our intelligence services. He was captured and arrested, mind you, not killed, so he can sing like a canary and expose his fellow marauders. Just three weeks ago, the Department of State Security captured the sixth Owo Church attacker, one Sani Yusuf, who is a high-value ISWAP asset. It is because of the proactiveness of the NSA's office and the DSS's structure that these breakthroughs, which led to peaceful festivities, occurred. Yes, I know the nature of the typical Nigerian on social media. Many will troop under this post to insult and be negative. You and I should sympathise with such folk. Margaret Mitchell, in her book Gone With the Wind, warned us about them a hundred years ago. Though she was rather racist, she nevertheless did speak some truth when she wrote that some of our race prefer spreading bad news to good.

Kaja Kallas met with Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in Lagos, highlighting stronger Nigeria–EU ties. The talks focused on security cooperation, intelligence sharing, and regional stability, with Ribadu playing a central role in coordinating Nigeria’s security efforts. Nigerians are really just selfish people and it’s making me angry and sick. Literally almost everyone on Tinubu’s team or the so called city boy people are just doing this for personal gains, nobody is looking at the collective good of Nigeria. Just personal interests and stomach infrastructure

The Times recently published a harrowing survivor account: a Nigerian woman kidnapped by Boko Haram spent eight years in captivity before finally escaping. Her testimony sheds light on the brutality of prolonged abduction, the resilience required to survive, and the failures of state protection.
