@THATBOYMMAGURU Guru, my friend, you are really off on this one. It's pretty obvious you never used these scales.
Besides that, don't you ever wonder why no one in the sport wants to use digital scales? The sport would be much worse off if we were fucking over big fights due to non-factor.
English

Just posted my reaction to the #UFC308 UFC 308 weigh ins where Khamzat Chimaev was last to the scale. A whole hour was added to the original weigh in time window and we only got news of this 3 minutes after finding out he was struggling, check it out! youtube.com/watch?v=zUvty6…

@CountDankulaTV I quit 2 years ago (after 20 years). Highly recommend Chantrix. In the past when I quit, the cravings never went away. After months of not smoking, I'd still get the urge and eventually would give in.
With Chantrix, I have ZERO urge for a cig. It's as if I never smoked.
English

I see that me posting about quitting smoking inspired a lot of you to do it as well.
Good.
It does get easier over time, it's only been a week for me and I already feel improvements to my smell and breathing. I feel like a have more energy.
I am using a Fum to keep my mouth and hands occupied plus a Juul for the nicotine (much much lower dose than what I was used to when I was smoking) and those are really helping me to ignore the cravings.
I'm also reinforcing in my head "I don't want to smoke, I am an ex smoker, I don't do that anymore. I am no longer a smoker" and that's also really helping.
English

@CountDankulaTV I quit for the last time a year ago.
Chantrix + Lucy gum/pouches. I couldn't believe how effective that was compared to all the other times I tried quitting before. I have zero cravings now. It's like I never was addicted.

@atulgogtay @gunsnrosesgirl3 Which is due to the car having an external sources of energy maintaining the speed.
If the car cut the engine at the exact moment the man jumped, the man would out travel the car for the few seconds he is in the air.
English

@gunsnrosesgirl3 No. Inertia, will keep him above the pool. However there will be a slight backward displacement due to air-resistance which can be compensated for by diving with a small forward velocity component.
English

@MmaUnderdogs My vote would be @SugaSeanMMA. It would be interesting to hear his commentary as he is sitting in the corner filming.

@scottish_maiden @MandiATaylor @Timestwo13 @GabeAintWoke @EndWokeness You are both wrong. The suppliers are independent from Yum Corporation. The franchisee has a direct relationship with the supplier.
Yum does have an approval list for who you can use. After that, it's between you and the approved supplier that you choose.
English

@MandiATaylor @Timestwo13 @GabeAintWoke @EndWokeness You beat me to the comment. I'm so glad someone still knows how to use common sense.
English

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law to raise the minimum wage for fast food workers to $20 per hour.
In response to the new law, California Pizza Hut operators are laying off all their delivery drivers one month before the law goes into effect.
1,200 jobs eliminated overnight.
Other fast-food chains in California have announced price hikes on the menu.
English

@MandiATaylor @Timestwo13 @GabeAintWoke @EndWokeness Yes, they are completely independent. They have a list of approved suppliers that operate for each region.
There are 17,000 Pizza Huts around the world. Do you think California raising minimum wage is going to increase the cost of pizza in Tokyo?
English

@Timestwo13 @GabeAintWoke @EndWokeness They still get supplied from corporate and when those prices raise… theirs will too. Maybe not as much, but they will. They aren’t completely “independent”.
English

@GabeAintWoke @EndWokeness No, Pizza Hut, for this example, is a franchisor. The stores are owned by individuals that pay a franchisee fee. There may be some large franchisees that operate across multiple states, but most stores are not.
English

The unspoken part: Food chains will raise prices in ALL states to help offset the CA increase. Meaning people in places like Ohio and Georgia will be subsidizing California payroll, and Newsom just reached into their pockets, too.
Don't believe me? Track prices in your area for the next couple of months. See how much the cost of a Big Mac rises...

@DynastyKhan @NyaaPixel @ianmiles Koreans are great people. I loved living there.
The street fighting was a little funny. One fight started with a guy running and doing a jump kick. He misses and falls down. Other dude just soccer kicks him in the face.
I ran over and stopped him from bashing his face in.
English

@bjpenndotcom Why does everyone seem to miss the part where Joe specifically refers to "great" fighters. He's talking about fighters who could be the main event of a PPV.
I'd bet @JohnnyEblen would love to join the UFC. He is 32 years old and could very likely be the best MW in the world.

@Psyche_OS @ianmiles Yea, and those guys can be real POS. My least favorite place in Seoul was Itaewon. Those who know will know.
TBF, many cool dudes as well. I had a few buddies in Camp Casey that were really good dudes. Crazy range of culture in US military, ghetto thugs to normal college kids.
English

@NyaaPixel @ianmiles I lived in Seoul for 3 years. Japan is even safer, imo. Koreans can be quite hot tempered, and are not afraid to throw down.
I've been to Japan over 30 times. I don't think I ever saw two Japanese guys street fighting. I've seen many Korean street fights.
English

@OldRichGamer @ianmiles I lived in Seoul. There are not many places like that. Certainly not most countries. I've been to 40+ countries around Asia/Europe/North America. Japan, Korea, Singapore, Canada felt the safest.
In most countries, the rural areas are even more dangerous than the cities.
English

@ianmiles It's kinda like that in most countries.
If you're in a rural area. It's 99% safe to walk around at night. Yes, even if you're a vulnerable female.
English

@ianmiles Depends on the time and area. As a male even in Singapore I’m not gonna be like “let’s stroll at 2am for a safety check then”
English

@ianmiles I was an ex-pat that lived in Seoul for 3 years. I loved to go for jogs at night. One night a Korean girl peddled up to me shouting. She was worried I was going to be hurt because I was alone.
I grew in Detroit. Only time I was scared in Seoul was a run-in with Russian mafia.
English

@ToKTeacher What do you mean by "progress"? Are you referring to human well being? If so, obviously the laws of physics are not oriented toward human flourishing.
Hopefully you are not stating something so benign and dumb. More interesting question is "why does time move in one direction?"
English

@edmrobb @stylebender The bidet is the next level. With wet wipes, there are those days where you can wipe a dozen times and still get streaks.
With bidet, you will never even have to think about being clean.
English

The western world is MAD!! Toilet paper is so archaic, all you doing is smearing poopoo all over your ass cheeks no matter how clean it may seem. In the Middle East they got it made...BIDETS!! If you stepped in shit you wouldn't just use a paper towel to clean it with no water, so why do that for your stink ass?! At least use a wet wipe, or spit on your toilet paper you FILTHY ANIMALS!!! 😂😂😂😂😂🤢🤢🤢

English

@CharlesWoodson @stylebender I have both. Though it is hard to over exaggerate just how nice the bidet is.
I would challenge any non-user to a spontaneous wipe off. I'll bet my house there are no streaks from me. I doubt they can be so confident.
English

@stylebender I installed heated bidets onto all of my toilets. The electrician cost more than the Toto bidets. It shocks me when people say they don't want to use it.
Tip: If money is an issue, skip out on the heated/electric feature. Non-electric bidet is very affordable and worth it.
