The doom and gloom discussions sparked on every major paradigm shift throughout history since people resist change, which is understandable since there’s inertia with stability and routine. Yet this time, with AI, the shift is so major and broad across so many fields that it makes us question our own nature as a species, so are they really to blame? But yeah, overhyping is annoying and carries no signal, thankfully some genuinely interesting people pop here and there to even things out.

@MSZeghdar I'll continue straight up blocking becuz ppl will only hype even if it means lying through their teeth. For every amazing guy that I find on this platform, I encounter 100 shitty doom and gloom hype person that tries to sell his product.

I think ppl with posts like these at least deserve a mute.

That’s a fair point, and an interesting subject of discussion on its own regardless of AI. One can argue that the designs space already exists yet is uncharted, another can consider that the space is expanded when creations occur. AI role can be viewed differently on a conceptual level depending on the adopted paradigm, on one its a vessel, on the other its a creator.

Given the complexity and size of EM design space, we think of this as a part of a human-driven design that lets us explore a large design space than we typically do given time constaints.

One of these things is not like the other… The other day @PratapRanade brought home 3 RF circuits. Ok “10GHz band pass-filters” he says, to be precise. The first two are human-made, the third is what they’re calling “an alien geometry” 👾 Look how funky it is. That’s the world’s first-ever AI-made RF circuit achieved by the electromagnetism foundation model @arenaphysica. No human would have created it this way. It’s odd, it looks random, but it really works & it might be the future guts inside every satellite, radar, microwave etc one day.

This is a live compromise. This is textbook supply chain installer malware. axios has 100M+ weekly downloads. Every npm install pulling the latest version is potentially compromised right now. Socket AI analysis confirms this is malware. plain-crypto-js is an obfuscated dropper/loader that: • Deobfuscates embedded payloads and operational strings at runtime • Dynamically loads fs, os, and execSync to evade static analysis • Executes decoded shell commands • Stages and copies payload files into OS temp and Windows ProgramData directories • Deletes and renames artifacts post-execution to destroy forensic evidence If you use axios, pin your version immediately and audit your lockfiles. Do not upgrade.

@MSZeghdar Thank you I really appreciate it! No plans for obsidian plugin, desktop version is in the works. We had a working version but it was dismissed as we felt the quality wasn’t there. We are working with a more native stack to do proper desktop version.
