I’m not paying to read the damn article but if they didn’t address how regulatory bodies are causing moral distress of clinicians in these facilities then they missed a huge opportunity to do something decent rather than provocative.

Let me translate—a person who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on their education and years of their life in training risked their license to give the diagnosis they knew was not accurate, but the director of nursing or consulting pharmacist said had to be in the patient’s chart or the medicine they felt was most appropriate to keep said patient safe and comfortable would not be administered. Off label prescribing is perfectly reasonable. Physicians/NPs/PAs are pressured to check a box (give the wrong diagnosis) to appease administration and keep facilities out of hot water with regulatory bodies. What a fucking day on this app.

U.S. nursing homes are fabricating schizophrenia diagnoses to hide their use of dangerous antipsychotic drugs to subdue dementia patients, a government watchdog report found. The drugs increase risk of falls, strokes and death. wapo.st/4tfSUsr

ACIP disbanded right as they were preparing to acknowledge vaccine injuries and present transparent risk vs harm data. And at the same time… the CDC is preparing official injury codes. You don’t build a tracking system for something that doesn’t exist. This isn’t going away. It’s about to be counted. Officially. For the first time ever. 2027 is going to be really uncomfortable for a lot of people, especially our agencies and the DOJ for not even trying to help us. We should all file willful misconduct suits.

yeah, this was actually my point during Covid, if someone in my family got sick and had to wait outside the hospital for a room because people who didn’t take their Covid shots actually got Covid and ended up in the ER… that’s where your right to not get an illness-preventing vaccine ends and my right to kick you the fuck out of your bed begins

Abolish the Electoral College. Why should a handful of anonymous electors get the final say over millions of voters? One person, one vote…anything less is a rigged system.

It’s a repulsive tradition imo and it should’ve been banned a long time ago. It endangers the lives of infants, there is no religious obligation for it and the visuals are just beyond the pale.

@MSerdikoff @PhilosophyDad1 @TiffaniMarie483 Yeah that definition still supports the way I use it You're trying to sound like an intellectual by avoiding the believing part, but you just sound retarded You can believe a fact, evolution isn't a fact tho but you believe in it

We're supposed to have 13 months in a year, 28 days exactly with one day of renewal. Keep in mind women's periods are 28 days, the ocean tides are 28 days, and the moon cycle is 28 days. That's why we call it a month, because the cycles were originally derived from the moon (s). All of this was changed to make us out of sync with the moon & stars and also hide our history. ✨🙌🏾💫 © electric_being

I get asked a lot why I don’t drink It's because I don't see the point It's not enjoyable, it's empty calories, and I end up feeling like shit My sleep, training, and productivity will be impacted There's just no value to me personally Anyone else relate to this?

@Anheroic13 @PhilosophyDad1 @TiffaniMarie483 That is correct. I don't believe in Evolution. I don't believe in natural selection. I don't believe the heart has 4 chambers or the pancreas secretes insulin or in homozygous superiority. I know they are true.

I once had a brain trauma patient transferred into our ER from an outside facility. It was a small brain bleed, but even a small bleed can be life threatening if it grows. Repeat CTs are essential to ensure it’s not growing. The patient didn’t arrive with imaging from the transferring hospital. They simply neglected to send them. We called and asked them to upload the images to an online portal (HIPAA compliant, widely used). They refused. We asked them if they could put the images on to a CD or flash drive and send it over. They refused. The only way they would release the images is if our hospital sent a courier with a records release form to their hospital to pick up a CD. The amount of time that would take made the images meaningless. So we just repeated the CT to get a new baseline. Stuff like this happens every day.

You go to different doctor’s offices and fill out the same forms over and over again when you could scan a QR code and have your information transferred instantly. We live in the 21st century. Healthcare shouldn’t feel like Groundhog Day.

@Begonia47 @FinkyDidIt @BraddrofliT The Senate was given six year terms and originally not direct elections because they were meant to cool the passions in the house and to prevent the tyranny of the majority. Please read your history.

@MSerdikoff @FinkyDidIt @BraddrofliT FYI - The Senate gives a white rural voter 20x the power of a diverse urban voter. The result is a self-reinforcing loop where the minority (white/agrarian) maintains control over the majority (diverse/urban).

@NickTaber There is no conclusion you can draw except there both in the highest category for abuse and have some medical use. Oxycodone is also C-II there is no relationship the Ritalin except for potential for abuse.

@NickTaber The worst kind. The kind that makes a true statement and draws horrible conclusions. To be schedule I it has to have NO accepted medical use. Both cocaine alkaloid and methamphetamine have acceptable medical uses, but in reality their use is minuscule to nonexistent.

Ritalin is a schedule II controlled substance. Same classification as cocaine and meth. We prescribe it to six-year-olds for fidgeting.
