@MSkeadas @Greyhead19 @fplblackbox_az I know, it's just he does know all the people playing the game. My reply wasn't a critique, just a joke.

#FPLTraitors
That was quick….Congratulations to @fplblackbox_az who now has the power of the Seer. This means they can select one person and ask them to confirm whether they are Traitor or Faithful.
They will select their nominee with lunch planned for this afternoon

@FPLSportScience @Greyhead19 @fplblackbox_az When you don’t know someone’s preferred pronouns using they/them is a respectful way to address them until you know.

@Greyhead19 @fplblackbox_az Is everyone in this game multiple people or non-binary?

The whole 21/22 season, until gameweek 36 when it all fell apart. The best moment was an Ivan Toney goal that took me up to 25th in the world (12th mid gameweek).
There was a time when winning the whole thing felt like a genuine possibility, which was fun to experience!

What's everyone's favourite FPL memory??

@J_92__ @BenCrellin @Pras_fpl 1000% agree Jack. Zero reason to end with more than two. Maybe 10k deduction per faithful voted off?
English

@BenCrellin @Pras_fpl I still think in the normal version they need to deter people from voting off Faithfuls at the end. There’s no incentive to end the game with more than 2 players. Maybe the prize money should half for every faithful voted off at the end etc

@BorderlineFPL @PikachuBiceps @FMLFPL Being LGBTQ+ isn’t a “worldview” it’s who someone *is* as a person. That’s kind of central to the point here.
English

@BorderlineFPL @FMLFPL Also remember the original point here. Guehi chose to write on the Rainbow Armband citing “love and inclusivity.” I’m willing to get into a back and forth with you, privately if you prefer, about how problematic this is and how sad it makes many Christians
English

@BorderlineFPL @FMLFPL The same logic has been used throughout history to justify persecution both large and small, and to deny that commonly held interpretation of the Bible changes over time is wild. I’d be very surprised if you don’t *selectively* interpret parts of the Bible to fit your world view
English

@BorderlineFPL @FMLFPL As a Christian yourself are you offended by Christians that think homosexuality is a sin?
English

@MSkeadas @FMLFPL I’ll be honest usually all for the banter and vulgarity, but could do without bringing the politics/religion into the mix on a footy podcast. Huge supporters of the pod and it’s their show so they can do whatever they want but as a Christian myself I didn’t appreciate the comment
English

@AlecTorelli For sure. I guess just waiting to look at my cards just keeps me in that mindset. Also there’s an argument that we shouldn’t be doing this every single hand that we aren’t in, can cause burnout in a 14 hour session.
English

@MSkeadas I agree, and I actually should say you do this throughout the hand on all streets regardless.
Matters zero whether you're in the hand or not.
English

My controversial poker take is that you should look at your cards as soon as you get them.
You have more time to think about your decision, it speeds up the action and most importantly, nobody is looking at you.
It takes 0.5 seconds to squeeze and you miss nothing.
People think you give something away by looking early.
It’s the opposite.
You’re much more likely to give something away when there’s a raise and 3-bet, and now the WHOLE TABLE is of course starting at you, watching your every move because the action is on YOU!
I don’t understand why I’m the minority here. Makes zero sense to me.
Can someone who prefers to squeeze when it’s on them please explain your logic?

@FPL_TomHadley @Pras_fpl Devils plan is chess to Genius Game checkers. Nor a slight on Genius Game, I enjoyed it. Devils plan is just an entirely different level. Definitely watch!
English

@Pras_fpl Love this sort of stuff. Did you watch Genius Game?
Lots of mixed reviews but I personally loved it and the concept
English

The Devil’s Plan on #Netflix is probably the smartest reality show I’ve ever watched. All the games are really thought proving and it’s fun to watch really smart people play them.
SirD 🇺🇸@Sir_Dammed
Reminder to once again watch The Devil's Plan, the greatest (Korean) competition/reality show ever created. It is simply unmatched. The players are all so intelligent and likeable. The games are all mental - they're super interesting, complex, and well-designed. No drama, politics, or anything cringey... just a group of super smart people respectfully battling it out in some super interesting mental/psychological competitions. Some of the 180 IQ moves these people pull off... it will literally blow your mind. I can't recommend it enough.

@PaulRussellYT @FPLSportScience @economist_fpl Have a good day mate. I’ll leave with my favorite quote of my Mom- “Jesus died to take away our sins, not our minds.” I hope you can eventually realize the flaw in your understanding.
English

@FPLSportScience @economist_fpl Yeah I mean you’re wrong, but you do you. Hope you can find a way to open your mind and heart and come to see how wrong this approach and understanding is
English

@FPLSportScience @economist_fpl Not a fan when Guehi gets his messaging way off wrt to the Rainbow Laces campaign though, hopefully he’s had people reach out to him to educate that the Christian faith has nothing against LGBTQ+ people and supporting and raising awareness for them is what Jesus would do.
