A new leadership? Eugene Debs: “If you are looking for a Moses to lead you out of this capitalist wilderness, you will stay right where you are. I would not lead you into the promised land if I could, because if I led you in, some one else would lead you out.”

If PIP is so easy to claim fraudulently, why has not one right-wing journalist done it yet to prove it. 🤔 PIP fraud is so low it is statistically insignificant in government figures. At the moment it is 0.2% Why is the evidence people provide always just anecdotal?

"I'm profoundly disabled, under palliative care, my husband is my carer, and we have struggled." "I know people who get paid the same as me, and they have nothing wrong with them." 📞 Kirsty says the benefits system is too easy to game. @theJeremyVine | #JeremyVine

Robert Jenrick claims Reform is for workers Reform voted against the Employment Rights Bill because they back zero-hours contracts & fire/rehire If you really were the party of workers you'd be asking why someone working 40hrs/wk cant afford to pay their bills in the 1st place

My latest article on UK free zones. From Freeports to AI Growth Zones, Britain is quietly being transformed into a network of deregulated corporate enclaves where democracy is replaced by private governance. tribunemag.co.uk/2026/05/free-z…

Christopher Harbourne & his crypto millions are fuelling Britain’s far right turn. First via Johnson & now Farage. It’s the great undercovered story of our time. I’m really proud that @thenerve_news is doing this work. If you can afford to support it, we so appreciate it. 🙏 7/ thenerve.news/membership

💥 Great to see this from Andy Burnham: " I do think there needs to be reform to the electoral system to enable less point-scoring, more problem-solving. Less short term, more long term.” 👏👏👏 theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

@MakeVotesMatter It's got to mean so much more than only PR though. Banning second jobs, capping personal donations gifts and freebies, automatic elections when people change parties mid term......

MPs are blaming regulator OfCom for the disaster at Royal Mail. This is a red herring. Ofcom can’t fix Royal Mail. To fix Royal Mail, let’s take it into public ownership and run it in the interest of households, not the profits of a Czech Billionaire.

If immigration has halved yet we still can't afford rent or bills. It obviously wasn't immigration causing them to be unaffordable.

Today I spoke on the latest appalling acts of Israeli ministers. Our diplomacy and limited sanctions approach with Israel are clearly not working. We need to escalate pressure, enforce criminal law, and end trade with illegal settlements and goods.

Massive call out to my brave, beautiful & fearless friend Noa Avishag Schnall @NoaAvishag of the @gbsumudflotilla who yesterday had the courage, while zip-tied, to shout at Ben Gvir to his face that he was a "genocidal maniac," after which she was assaulted & beaten up by his henchmen. Following a global outcry she and her fellow activists have now arrived safely in Istanbul, severely bruised but unbowed. She will be telling her story @JLFLitfest London at 15.00 on Saturday, 6th June.

And so it begins. The rinsing of St.Helens residents by £52k a pop, for political assistants due to their newly appointed councillors having zero experience. Reform are exactly who we said they are, our taxes are now paying for a bunch of con men who can’t do the job!

Nigel Farage was screaming to scrap furlough because it was a waste of money, while he had already claimed £120,000 for himself. He is a fraud every word is a lie.

The tide is turning – if not against Palantir entirely, then against the presumption that there’s no alternative to them. The British people are saying no, and it’s working. Say no to Palantir in the NHS here: goodlaw.social/8ppt

No government should be able to win a big majority on a minority of the vote. Our voting system is warping our politics beyond recognition. I have joined 65 other MPs in signing an amendment pushing for a National Commission on Electoral Reform. This is a necessary first step toward building a more representative system - one where power reflects the people, not the quirks of a failing model.

Labour lost nearly four times as many voters to the Greens as Reform. Yet all you hear about is Reform's threat to Labour. Why? Because a) the left aren't treated as legitimate political actors b) Labour's masters prefer bashing migrants to challenging wealth and power
YouGov@YouGov

YouGov's study of the 2026 local elections shows that just 46% of 2024 Labour voters who went to the polls remained loyal to the party, with more backing the Greens (22%) than Reform UK (6%) two weeks ago The Conservatives retained 55% of their 2024 voters, with 33% switching to Reform UK

I think that 35 hours work a week should not only pay the rent and put food on the table, but leave you enough over for the odd night out and an annual holiday. And if that belief makes me an economically illiterate leftwing extremist, so be it.
