I can’t believe it, I got first place in the Coastal Landscape category of the Love Your Coast competition for my shot of Balbriggan Lighthouse.

È impossibile descrivere la bellezza di Siena sotto la luna toscana, ma ecco un tentativo.

@frpaddybyrne Our faith is that all life comes from God and will return to Him. The kingdom of heaven belongs to His children (Matthew 19:14) and surely to those murdered through abortion. The Lord will never forget His own (Isaiah 49:15. May the poor innocents ask God’s forgiveness on us all.

English Parliament has voted to decriminalise abortion up to birth. I really wonder what have we become….

Before he was Pope Leo XIV, Robert Prevost had heard about 16-year-old Donal Walsh who was dying of cancer in the west of Ireland. He was so impressed by Donal's deep that he wrote him a letter offering to make him an honorary Augustinian. And two days before he died, Donal was sworn in. This is the story of a teenager whose courage and conviction inspired Ireland, and also a future Pope.

Congratulations to newly minted Dr @ConorReale on the successful defence of his Doctoral thesis - a phenomenological exploration of teachers civic identity. A truly excellent achievement Conor and phenomenally well done 😀 @JoeOHaraDCU @EQI_DCU @OireachtasNews 👍

Powerful words to resound through all eternity at the baptism of grandson Donnacha Kevin today, ‘I claim your soul for Christ our saviour by the sign of His cross’. ❤️

@MartinaFitz1 Yes, of course Martina! How could I forget? My mum did the same novena praying for a safe delivery and promising that the child would be named after the saint. I’ve kept her St Martin statue. Happy memories … and we can go again on 11th with our other Martin 😀

Appealing for support and to spread the word for our great friends from @KilleaghGAA - the Motherway family and young Rory. A lovely young chap. In need of our help and working so hard himself in Rehab ❤️ So brave. Please donate and share. Thank you.
