Unfortunately missed on day 2 with this beautiful pile of cards. I think lessons are good, but Monument isnt. Tried to find a way to make Lessons a combo deck since people see lesson cards and tap out frequently. Also the crocodile was fantastic!

Flying back home after a bit of a disappointing 7-9. That being said, I'm very grateful for every pro tour match regardless of the result and still had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Looking forward to a bit of a break until Vegas after a busy winter though

@HouseOfManaMTG Nothing hurts more than watching amulet players stumble through lines that I figured out 5 mins ago. Just learn the deck and memorize patterns, don’t raw dog that shit it’s not fun for anyone

This should be a wake up call for anyone playing amulet. Knowing how to communicate what you are doing is mandatory for success. Please don’t be the guy 20 minutes overtime in round. Reach out to me if you have questions about how to communicate playing amulet. Let’s keep gaming.

Unless all Amulet players find a way to speed up (be it wincons or game actions), Wotc will hit the deck next February for logistics reasons. It's a helpful warning to include in the announcement, but in reality it is so difficult to fix it reads as a giant "prepare yourselves".
