In her welcome address, the DCO Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya welcomed all Member States, Observers, Partners, International Organizations and other stakeholders to the DCO 3rd General Assembly. She acknowledged the promising opportunities the digital economy provides, and also pointed out the challenges, particularly the widening digital divide that affects less developed countries, women, youth, and marginalized populations. She also highlighted the importance of multi-stakeholder cooperation to address common challenges and harness opportunities.
