@howertonjosh Yes totally agree I am not in favor of abortion except in certain cases. However I still believe it is the woman’s choice and let them answer to God.

I disagree that someone else's sin results in the moral permission to kill *another* person, but I understand why some people feel the way you do. Would you at least be able to agree with me then that abortion should be illegal in all other scenarios (over 99% of abortions, if I understand correctly)?

@howertonjosh Agree with you somewhat on this but what about in the case of rape? For me I just believe it’s between the woman and God on her decision. She has to answer to him not me or any other man. Thanks for responding. Always helps me to see a different way

A) A woman has a choice whether or not to engage in activity that often results in a baby B) A baby with a separate heartbeat, different DNA, different pain receptors, different brain, etc. is not "her body", it's someone else's body. The only position removing autonomy from someone else is the "pro-choice" position that gives someone permission to *kill* another person. C) I always want to add this: any man that engages in sexual activity resulting in a baby is morally (and should be legally) responsible for helping that woman care for that child, full stop.

@DontPanic404 @howertonjosh Thanks for the response. For me it’s about putting myself in her place. I would not want a man telling me what to do with my body. It’s none of their business. Let that decision be between her and God

No, I didn’t. You’re making a bodily autonomy argument and I’m demonstrating how bodily autonomy has limits when it comes to immoral actions. We all agree that somebody shouldn’t be able to use their bodily autonomy to murder a born child. However, many people are willing to make exceptions when it comes to murdering a child before they’re born. You also included a logical fallacy (an ad hominem), by saying that men can’t have an opinion on abortion because they aren’t women. You’re dismissing (or self-disqualifying) an opinion not on its logical merits, evidence, or reasoning, but solely because of the identity or lack of membership in a particular group.

@MWHSHSU @howertonjosh If somebody uses their body to punch you in the face; who are you to tell them what they can do with their body?

@MWHSHSU @howertonjosh Umm. It’s not her body. It’s a little human with its own DNA that deserves protection just like any child.

@howertonjosh @MWHSHSU Yes! People who don’t know the Bible love to parrot “judge not lest you be judged”. That doesn’t mean we can’t call out right and wrong. If someone stole your car, you can definitely judge the perpetrator on his actions. I’d love for you to do a podcast on the “judge not” verse.

@howertonjosh I agree with you for the most part. And I appreciate your response. The abortion thing for me is different as for me let the woman decide what’s best for her body. She will have to answer why when that time comes. It’s not a man’s business what woman wants to do to her body

@MWHSHSU I’m a pastor, yes it is my job to disciple people about public claims like “Jesus never said anything about abortion.” That’s like line 1 of my job description: help people understand and apply God’s Word

@AFMBlog Depending ont he equipment and what all you have done etc, I think you overpaid slightly. With your sized house should be around 15-20k. Not 30k. Did you get multiple quotes? Were you paying all cash or financing?

My neighbor is replacing their HVAC system today. Their house is slightly bigger than ours. Total cost for everything: $34,000!!!!! What in the hell? He said they have tripled in cost since COVID. What a crock of crap.

Any Christian who votes for a Democrat should be placed under church discipline and removed from any ministry leadership role until they recognize their error and repent. To vote for a Democrat in 2026 is the same as voting FOR abortion, LGBTQ, and DEI. It’s a rejection of God’s standard of moral right and wrong. The Christians who vote for Democrats are voting FOR baby murder, sexual immorality, denial of truth, racism, unequal weights and measures, and the destruction of their own country. 30 years ago, the political landscape was different. There were plenty of Democrat politicians who held biblical values and pursued a moral agenda. Today, the Democrat’s Party Platform has codified and enshrined a commitment to overt wickedness. Any pastor who endorses a Democrat should be removed from ministry; fools cannot be trusted to teach truth because they aren’t capable of recognizing lies. The blind cannot be trusted to guide the lost because they can’t even read a compass. If 90% of white Southerners in 1850 supported slavery, then 90% of white Southerners in 1850 were wrong. Research says 85% of black Protestants vote Democrat; if that’s true, then 85% of black Protestants are wrong and need to repent. It’s time to be clear about this reality.
