@MWill0913 Yeah like, both Byron’s starts were absolutely mid, and Larson’s Vegas win was genuinely a 6th place car that he somehow willed to the W. Genuinely don’t understand how anyone can be crashing out that zilisch should be in the 88 when he’s literally also in a JR motorsports car😭

Shoutout High Limit for deciding to let all the cars that made the call for the B main start the feature. Although if you were THAT worried about weather that you didn't do the redraw wheel, you could have just skipped the B main entirely instead of shortening it by a few laps?

I’m still processing how Spire’s attorneys are going to try and deal with Jeff Dickerson’s Gluckcast interview. I am having difficulty trying to explain in a reasonable amount of characters how challenging it is going to be to deal with this interview. But needless to say, the interview is going to be an exhibit in depositions. JGR’s response from Heather Gibbs below. I do not believe that the JGR legal team needs any Tums today. But they might be having bourbon and wow, we just got a lot to work with way.

Heather Gibbs has issued a statement to The Athletic after Jeff Dickerson's comments today. In terms of the lawsuit, our singular purpose is to protect our trade secrets- the most important information that our race team (and any race team for that matter) possesses, particularly in this era of Next Gen cars. These trade secrets have been created through the hard work and innovation of JGR’s talented employees over the past 35 years as we built our race team from the ground up. Those same trade secrets were admittedly stolen by a former employee in a manner meant to avoid detection. Within days of the acknowledged theft, Spire offered that former employee a job and subsequently hired him. This lawsuit isn’t personal; we have a responsibility to stand up for our employees, for our partners, and for the integrity of the garage. We believe accountability matters. That is why we are here. Not to tear anyone down, but to stand up for what is right and protect the foundation this sport is built on, so that every team, every driver, and every fan can trust in the fairness of the competition.

The judge in the JGR-Gabehart case will hold a telephonic hearing next Tuesday on whether the trial should be in November (when JGR wants) or as late as next May (when Gabehart-Spire want).
