Isn’t Berrada’s 2 year rule applicable for Mount? He hasn’t performed for 2 years. Why won’t he leave then?
Anyway, I am perfectly fine with fit Mount being our squad option. You won’t find many better quality to be in your squad. Biggest issue is his injury issues.

The £2m looks like daylight robbery now, but we have to remember Maxi was coming off a dead-end loan at Forest Green. The board basically used Legia Warsaw as a 'bridge' to increase his value. We took the 40% cut of his Strasbourg move, and crucially, we reportedly have matching rights and a buy-back. If he keeps cooking in France, we can just bring him home for a discount. It’s actually smart business compared to the old days when we’d let players leave for nothing.

Another Carrington graduate making a name for himself. I was a huge fan of Maxi Oyedele during his academy days—he’s a serious player. It’s so good to see him shining in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg and representing Poland at the senior level. He took the hard road to get there, and it’s paying off.
