@travy @BryceWGarcia Airbnb is only viable and worthwhile internationally. A lot of listing's don't charge cleaning fees. Or if they do it's negligible, and at times they don't even charge taxes. Airbnb in the US is just tenants hooking you with a cheap nightly price and then marking up their fees.

@BryceWGarcia The good years of AirBnB are over. The only reason I stay at one now is if someone I’m traveling with insists on/pays for it. I would rather not have to deal with additional fees/rules at this point, better to go with a hotel where everything is up front.

Almost booked a $174 Airbnb before it came out to $350 after taxes, cleaning, & service fees. Booked a hotel for $160 instead.
