You should give us credit that no life was lost; we never organized a protest. The leaders of the matatu industry at that point in time never protested against the government. You should ask yourselves why did they feel that it was okay to understand Uhuru Kenyatta, but when it is President Ruto, they should go to the streets? There must be a certain level of profiling that applies to William Ruto and not Uhuru Kenyatta

After this is done they are coming in hard after the transport sector... You'll see the kind of laws they come up with to weaken them

Parliament is the biggest let down in this country!! All 418 of them are foolishly waiting for Ruto to make a decision for them yet their mandate is to represent the people's interest. The social contract in Kenya is completely non-existent!

I wish to express my solidarity with Kenyans who have to bear the burden of bad governance that has led to the paralysis of the transport sector today. While we acknowledge that the fuel crisis is a direct result of the war against Iran, every responsible government is taking steps to cushion their citizens from the high cost of living. As a first step, Parliament should convene immediately to ; ✅exempt all fuel products from VAT; ✅temporarily remove all fuel levies to stabilise the fuel prices: ✅redirect more resources being squandered through budgeted corruption to alleviate the energy crisis. Kenyans must stop worshipping political camps and start defending principles. Accountability is not tribal. Justice is not regional. Truth is not partisan. The real struggle is not between ordinary citizens. The real struggle is between a corrupt system and the people paying the price for it every day.
