@AJENews @AJEnglish What remains of the C-130 planes the U.S left behind in Iran after rescuing the 2nd missing F-15 pilot.
U.S special forces destroyed the planes after they became stranded in sand to prevent them falling into the hands of the IRGC.

UPDATE: Iran says plane downed in Isfahan was a C-130 support plane

@AppelezmoiKizza @KCCAED @KCCASpox @KCCAUG @MultiplexUganda The only solution is to clear the tickets first
English

Yes. The rude woman at the till was quick to share a number 0782 691 353, “kankuwe esimu ya manager omukubireko akusalireko zoyina okusasula”. I told the “manager”, that I would pay the said 38,000/- parking fee (even when in doubt of it too). But the man said, “ok you pay 40,000/-“…little did I know that they needed the clamping fee. Actually the receipt had clamping fee paid.
Meaning, the next time the same car is found parked on the street, and the 38,000/- still stands, there will be another 40k clamping fee!
…and the @KCCAED and @KCCAUG don’t see this broad day thuggery!🤦🏽♀️🥹
English

Dear @KCCAED @KCCASpox @KCCAUG I think it is time for us to talk about @MultiplexUganda . What do you mean by an unpaid due of 38,000/- in 2022 at 8:30am and you clamp the car for a charge of 40,000/-. But there’s someone on standby whose number is supplied to make quick negotiations about the clamping fee! Naye mutuyita ki? 🤦🏽♀️
Anyway, it looks like Multiplex have overstayed their time in this city.

@kyeruphiona This mentality should cease. The fact is that people in European countries do too little to assist families unless there is an emergency. You have always portrayed yourselves as more financially stable than those back home, but that mindset is flawed.
English

I was talking to a friend who just moved back to Uganda after years of doing Kyeyo in the UK. This man has spent years working double shifts in the cold, wearing the same old jacket, and skipping meals just to send every pound back home.
His younger brother picked him up from Entebbe in a very clean, luxury car. He drove him straight to a gated house in Kiwatule with a paved compound and a wall fence(kikomela).
When my friend asked who owned the house, the brother smiled and said, “It’s mine, big brother. Thank you for always praying for me.”Webale kunsabila
My friend wasn't jealous, but he told me his heart just sank. In London, he lives in a tiny rented room and waits for the bus in the rain. He doesn’t even own a single plot of land in Uganda. But the brother he was "helping" is living a soft life built on his sweat.
This is the mistake many of us make abroad. We become ATM machines for people who don't see our struggle. We fund their "emergencies" while they are busy buying land and building mansions behind our backs.
The Truth:
Help your family, but don’t be the ladder that everyone else uses to climb while you stay on the ground.
As you build for them, make sure you are building for yourself too. Don’t wait until you move back to realize you have nothing but old receipts and a tired back.🙌

@agribussiness1 I wonder every day why I should pay rent for the fifth floor and end up not owning it.

@martinssempa @Prophet_elvis @BigEyeUG I am eagerly awaiting Judgment Day 😄. I can't wait to see how people will explain their actions and beliefs to God. I pray every day that, even at that time, I will be a Ugandan.
English

Pretty boy @Prophet_elvis sinks lower with false gospel. And whats with the black dog collar around his neck? @BigEyeUG thanks for the post
BigEyeUG@BigEyeUG
God will have to apologize to Jesus?🤦♂️

@Faizafabz @Rushongoza Faiza, even for business messages, you do not reply to them. 😞
English

But @Rushongoza , can you reply my messages? I’m tired of tying on you mahn😪.
I’m also loved at home 😪.
English

@PeterYomcwiny @rwenzori_ Yes, it was part of the post office, and people never moved beyond that perception. They always considered it solely for government workers, particularly for military and government transactions.
English

@Mabaale256 @rwenzori_ But to be fair, even I first assumed it came out of the post office too.

The Headquarters Building of Pearl Bank Uganda Limited at Plot 15 - 17, Roscoe Road - Kololo, Kampala City.
Pearl Bank Uganda Limited (formerly PostBank Uganda Limited) is 100% owned by the Government of Uganda. Rebranded in 2025 to reflect its role as a commercial bank, it remains a state-owned enterprise, with the government responsible for its capitalisation and strategic direction.
They'll be shifting to this their new home from 4/6 Nkrumah Road effective 25th April 2026.
Your thoughts on this?

English

@iam_stability @rwenzori_ Have you ever visited URA at lunchtime? You might think it's the most profitable entity in Uganda. I believe their lunch budget is 50,000 per person per day. Ugandan government entities are too extravagant; no overheads seem likely to be reduced.
English

@rwenzori_ Time for growth. Reducing overheads like rent is important for sectors like Banking. Crane Bank had understood that until the Mafia Hit 😹
